After a few minutes, you seem to be getting used to the smell down here. You turn left and then right before reaching the big open area marked in your map. The place appears to be an abandoned water treatment facility or something like that. There are broken machines near the walls, enormous water vats, and pieces of rusted equipment on the floor. There is another chamber to the south that appears to be identical to the one you are in. Your path to the laboratory continues east through another narrow tunnel.
Anyone who rolled a 15 or better:
As you make your way through the abandoned chamber towards the tunnel on the other side, the faint sound of breathing becomes obvious to you. You look in time to see a trio of scruffy shifters hanging from the ceiling like bats. One of them is the shifter you had just had that terrible run-in with. As soon as they are noticed, they drop on you. They have no visible weapons. One of them whistles. The loud noise gets amplified inside the enclosed chamber. Something responds from the chamber to the south.
We are beginning combat!
A reminder about how turns work in combat: just post your turn when you get a chance and the DM will sort it out for you. Please try to be specific and include any backup plans if you feel they are necessary (for example, "If that guy days, I will hit this guy instead). DM will always try to talk to you or redirect your spells/attacks in a way that is beneficial to you if you can't be reached for a change of action. Also, be sure to note that you have a free use of the Inspiration Action!
Berlyn, Fin, and Trigger all have tied initiative scores, so I will accept whoever posts first as going before the others in the round. (Unless you word your action like Trigger goes after Berlyn, Fin goes after Trigger, etc.)

Jhess - (2)
(Assuming that they have dropped down pretty much right on top of us we're already in melee range as appropriate to the map.)
As timid as she has been thus far, when the shrouded figures drop down from the ceiling practically right on top of her she reacts purely on instinct, reaching not for her rapier but the two daggers on her belt. With an enemy both behind and before, she is quick to assess which is the bigger threat. The one in front of her is between her and Trigger (assuming Trigger is 1 since he was basically leading the group) and she feels like Trigger's sledgehammer should make pretty short work of him, so she decides to spin around and focus on the one behind her. With a quick, practiced twirl, she ducks low to help avoid any initial incoming strike as she spins around then delivers a quick stab as she rises back to her full height.
Action: Dagger vs. (Y) Attack:18Damage:4
Don't remember if you use flanking rules or not, but if so...Advantage Roll:6 and Sneak Attack:6
Movement: Remain in position, ready to assist either Trigger or (3) however possible.

Between Jhess and Trigger, they manage to bring the feline shifter to a bloodied state. He pants heavily from their two-pronged assault.
Berlyn misses, but words seem to have elicited an eyebrow twitch from the wolfy shifter guy.
Fin taps the wolfish lady shifter on the shoulder, who turns and sees a most ghastly expression on Fin's face as she says, "I suggest you and your little mongrels tuck tail and run."
Eman manages to give the Wolfish Gal a walloping!
Wolfish Guy Xgrowls as he makes two attacks against Berlyn! He swipes first with his claw, and then attempts to bite her. Berlyn can see his features become feral as he harnesses the power of the beast within. (Claw, Attack: 10, Damage: 4 slashing. This attack has disadvantage.) (Bite, Attack: 7, Damage: 7 piercing.)
Feline Guy Y looks from Trigger's metallic body to Jhess's half-elf form and does a quick risk calculation. He tries to bite Jhess! (Bite, Attack: 11, Damage: 10 piercing. If hit, you must succeed a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.)
Wolfish Gal X whimpers and turns away from Fin completely. She cannot walk past Eman... so she attacks him! (Bite, Attack: 11, Damage: 5 piercing. If hit, you must succeed a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.)
You all hear a chittering sound reverberate as you fight from the room south of you. A rat has come up to Jhess and hisses at her. It appears to be with the shifters.
