As the hour comes to a close, Trigger begins walking about the chamber as though he is restless or nervous (it's impossible to tell which).
"Is everyone ready to move on? If we wait around too long, more Jackals may find us while checking in on their ambush."

“I don’t really need this coin,” Berlyn says after counting the crowns. “So, unless you all have any objections, I’m going to put it into this guy’s pockets” nodding at the unconscious shifter. “It might be a good idea to tie him up or, at least, bind his hands.”
Emanuel spends the time with his arm around Lily, holding her tight. He whispered to her; "We can talk later alone. I will be okay, but we should still talk."
When the group starts to stir, Eman will head over and examine the foundry; patting Lily lightly and affectionately on the head as he leaves her.
"If you feel that is necessary, Miss Berlyn, then by all means do so."
"Eman, hold up just a moment. We should not seperate while down here unless absolutely required. Such would be exactly what ambushers hope for."

Emanuel stops short, turns to Trigger, and nods. "Thanks, I'll wait. You're right, we should treat the rest of this place like we are in enemy territory." His face has a look of grim determination. "We are our only allies down here."
Trigger nods in acknowledgement of Eman's resolve, then turns back to the others.
"Is everyone ready? From here out, we need to move as fast as we safely can."

Lily remains within Eman’s protective embrace, still shaken from her brush with death. She rubs the still burning scar from where the rat bit her. She looks into his eyes and nods at his words; she completely understood his need to talk about the situation. At least he seemed to understand and did not push her away like so many other have when they learned of Fin’s true nature.
When the group begins to prepare she will join the others. “I am ready.” She says with a grim nod. “Hopefully this time we will be better prepared. Should we run into anymore of these types.” She nudges the shifter with her foot. “I can try to charm them.”
J'Sahriel has spent the hour in silence, finding a seat against a wall or piece of debris somewhere close to the shifter she knocked unconscious. For most of the hour, her eyes have been on said shifter, though they seem to look past his unconscious form into some place long distant.
When everyone starts to stir into action again, Jhess is slow to respond. Not until Berlyn makes her clumsy, almost distracted attempt to tie up the shifter does she seem to come out of her funk.
"I don't think that will work very well," she say slowly to Lyn as she kneels down next to her and grasps her shaking hands. She holds them still for just a moment and tries to give her friend an encouraging smile before turning her attention to the knot-work. "Try doing it like this instead."
((OOC: We can play this up as either Jhess re-tying up the shifter, in which case I can roll SoH if needed, or she's just giving Lyn advice so she can roll with advantage. Whichever way you guys would like to do it.))
"Th-thanks, Riel," Berlyn stammers. "I really thought they would scare easily." she says quiety as Jhess reties the knot, "I figured we might run into trouble, but I didn't think we might actually die."She pauses. "Anyway, thank you for the potion, for saving me. We...I...need to be more careful."

Emanuel looks out into the foundry room, moving first, and signalling for Trigger to follow. If the room is clear, he'll move into the room and do the same for the sewer entrance to the room; keeping an eye out for danger.
The winding tunnels of the sewers would make you lose your sense of direction if it weren’t for the map you carry. Following the tunnel, you round a corner to find a large iron door on the south wall.
You are not alone. There is a hooded person in front of the door. The person is wearing travel gear and you can see a longsword in its scabbard by his belt and a lit oil lamp on the floor. He looks up to you and you see metal and wood on their face. Bright yellow eyes and a knife-like ghulra sigil on their forehead. They are holding a mallet and a chisel in their right hand and a heavy iron cog in their left hand. The cog has etched runes on it and fits the description Professor Daela gave you of the Schema.
“Hello, I’m Bloody Spear,”says the warforged with a quasi-feminine voice, “Why might you all be here?"

Though she knows it's difficult, Berlyn tries to get a read on this warforged. Was there a threat behind the greeting or was it more curiosity and surprise? She extends her hand
"Berlyn d"Medani. Glad to make your acquaintance. As he said," nodding to Trigger, "we are here to retrieve something. Are you familiar with this place?"She glances at the cog, then back to the warforged's face.
"Please, just call me Bloody Spear,"Bloody Spear replies kindly enough. They don't seem to mean you any ill will or have any villainous intentions. "It is not immediately apparent given my physical body, but I prefer to be referred to by feminine pronouns and titles. It seems more... correct.
"I am not too familiar with this place. I had to pay some shifters safe passage. A bit hefty, but such is life in the Cogs. So are you here following the House Deneith bounty? I'm assuming you're here for the same reason. I couldn't get in," she says, knocking on the huge iron door behind her. It makes a loud thud as she does so, "it's bolted shut."
