Chenna notices with his darkvision that deeper in the alley seemed to be a network of small paths connecting one block of houses with another. As it is midnight, no person seemed to be near the inner alley. There's no sign of Tursar still nearby as well. It might be not a place to rest, but it's pretty far from the road.

== Waft, AC 14, HP 12/12 ==

"The tea house is still far away and the city guards are hot on our tails. We have more time to spend once we loose them so let's waste no time in this dark alley and head to our destination."

Waft silently takes a step and starts heading to the tea house's direction, away from the patrolling guards.

Vortrin also starts to head back towards the teahouse.

Aeros will cast levitate on Vortin, "now is not the time to make noise" lowering them to float about 2 feet off the ground and then stealthily pulling them by the foot.

You manage to move away from that place without causing too much commotion. About 15 minutes later, you managed to reach the Tea Kettle. The bar part of the inn looks empty, except for one person in the middle table.

The person does not looks like doing anything in particular. As you are still about 20 feet away from the inn, please make a perception check. Anyone without darkvision has disadvantage due to surrounding dim torch lights.

"Well, someone go and talk to him. I don't trust my tact and temper with a lone person in a room. Then again, I did suck at keeping watch as well."

He thinks for a bit.

"How about I guard the damn egg with my life and someone stays with me and someone else goes and talks to that person?"

"im on the away team" aeros says to the group, while walking to the figure at the table. 

"Hello friend, were you waiting for us perchance, or is it more that you like the quiet of after hour pubs and sitting erilie still to spook late to bed inn goers?"

Ooc: If i get stabbed im blaming the egg.

As Aeros approaches the figure, it stands up and says

"Don't worry, it's me"

She walks toward Aeros. It is the elven Harper agent.

"You almost took two hours...where are the others? did you get the egg?"

Vortrin steps out of the shadows and reveals the egg with a flourish.

She is stunned by Vortrin's action for few seconds.

"Ahem. Great job. So our faction's intel was right after all...a cult specifically dealing with dragon has started to show themselves"

She draws five pouches filled with coins.

"Alright. Give me the egg and these are yours"

"Never thought you have the talent for entertainment Vortrin."

Waft makes an applause from behind.

"I think you should hand the elven woman the egg so we could get our pay."

“Hol...” Viclas thinks for a second, he wished he had been able cast Identify earlier and now that they had it, well, eh you win some you loss some, besides if the Harper found out that it wasn’t a dragon egg, he might not get payed “sounds to good to me” Viclas replies
