Musashi rests the head of his maul on the cavern floor, though he keeps his hand on the handle (OOC: not sure what you call the part where you hang on to it!).
"So, the guardian has been robbed" Musashi says, his tone more calm and professional than aggressive now. "No wonder you're on edge. If we bring back what was taken, we get through this cave and take the rest of the evil's hoard as our fee. Is that the deal?"
He glances at Gail and the others, then back to the beast. "Tell us what this evil looks like and what it stole. We can't find it if we don't know what we're looking for."

I haven't looked at them recently, so I don't remember how strong they are, but that is a very iconic shape in D&D, almost as iconic as dragons. I didn't have Gail comment, because I don't know how common they are known to the people of this world. The heroes that raised Gail (my campaign) fought many a dragon, but never floating balls with eyes.}
