Gail was quite surprised by her hammer getting stuck to the wall. She starts pulling on it to break it free. Musashi's warning keeps her from putting a foot on the wall for additional leverage.

Musashi’s eyes narrow as he feels the wall’s stubborn grip, ticking him off. "It wants to keep it" he grunts, "but I've got a different idea."
He hooks his own maul on the handy leather thong on his belt, shifts his stance, plants his lead foot for maximum leverage while keeping his body centered to avoid touching the wall himself. He grips the hammer's handle just above Gail's hands, his knuckles turning white.
"Don't just pull, Gail...heave!"
With a sharp, explosive exhale, Musashi puts his back into a massive surge, trying to rip the steel head clean off the surface.

Etrus’s eyes turn separately as they inspect the corridor and area that the hammer is stuck. Book in hand, he turns a page to his ritual of Detect Magic. Without expending some of his stolen Pact power it is a more gentle chant of extended duration.
Before he can begin, the two fighters began to heave, and strain and pull. The books pages flicker as he sees this, and he casts Invisibility.

Gail looks at the spot where her hammer was stuck. Did it leave a mark on the wall? She also test her hammer on the floor to see if the hammer is sticky now, before putting it away.
"Huh. It’s a veil. The wall isn't stone, and this tunnel isn't a path - it's a cage. We're being diverted." Musashi says, his voice low and dangerous.
"Etrus, look at the ripple. Is the magic? I want to know if I should smash my way through the wall instead of walking down the hall."

Doc JoJo just has a befuddled look as he is very confused. He is trying ot think how he can assist everyone.
Scarlett is still trying to figure out what she's looking at but keeps getting distracted by the way that the floor is so smooth and such a wonderful shade of grey.
