Doc Jojo keeps near Scarlett to get both the Initiative & save benefits. So can Scarlett & JoJo & Musahai al be with 10' of Scarlett and still hit the beholder in melee? Can a 4th join and still hit & be with in 10'?

Since Gail had no effective long range attacks, she dashed to the left, taking cover behind the left pillar closest to the beholder. As she gets within 30' of the beholder, she'll examine the beholder for strengths and weaknesses. Once she has the pillar between her and the beholder, she'll call out what types of attacks would be especially effective or ineffective against the beholder.
Move: mov 30' towards beholder.
Bonus action: Use Know Your Enemy ability to learn Immunities, Resistances, and Vulnerabilities of beholder
Action: Dash behind left pillar closest to beholder.
Free action: Announce results of Know Your Enemy so others can use that knowledge.

Nothing, the beholder seems to take damage from everything, and also doesn't resist anything

Musashi’s heart hammers against his ribs...not with fear, but with the cold, mechanical precision of a samurai who knows exactly what he needs to do. As the whistle pierces the air, he doesn't hesitate. He trusts Gail’s report...if the creature has no resistances, then pure, blunt force is the fastest way to ground it.
He sticks to the plan, splitting right to mirror Gail’s leftward movement. He keeps low, using the heavy stone of the pillars to break the Beholder's line of sight as he closes the distance.
Musashi charges into the chamber, his boots kicking up dust as he banks toward the pillars on the right. Inner monologue: ["No resistances? Good! Then he’ll feel every ounce of what's to come."]
He reaches the pillar closest to the Beholder, pressing his back against the cold stone. He glances up at the hovering monstrosity, timing his heartbeat to the creature's slow, erratic drifts. He’s a coiled spring, waiting for the moment the surprise fades and the real dance begins.
Action: Dash 60 feet to hide behind the pillar closest to the Beholder (no attacks since I'm weak in ranged attacks)
