About 30 feet down the rope, a singular Mind Flayer looks out at the rope, reacting in surprise at the number of people there, and letting out a burst of psionic energy, everybody give me an intelligence saving throw
(OOC: The ledge extends five feet out from where the mind flaying is standing, making it so that if anybody falls, they fall onto the bottom of the ledge)

(As usual, Etrus would be invisible on the climb down, ((also, the moment I unattune the spider slippers, suddenly climbing multiple layers. Classic! Haha))
Everybody other than Doc JoJo succeeds and takes half damage, and isn't stunned
Damage: 27 psyche damage to Doc JoJo. halfed to everybody else
And Doc JoJo is stunned and falls 20 ft to the ledge, taking 2 bludgeoning damage from the fall
(OOC: To make this reasonable, I'm going to remove the stunned condition from the mind blast with mind flayers other than this one, so you aren't all perma stunned)

(OOC: It would take 20 feet of movement to descend, then falling the remaining ten feet would mean 1d6 bludgeoning. And you are twenty feet away from the ledge.)
