BE7s Frozen Sick (IC)

"Listen to the dwarf" Kitsune adds, her voice a low, shivering rasp.  "He’s got a lot of bounce in him, but not much patience.  The longer you stay quiet, the more likely we are to decide you're more useful as a distraction for whatever is hungry in that eastern cave."

With a snarl, the beaten bandit says, "Fine, but get the hells off of me so I can breathe."  When Torvil has given him a bit of room to breathe, he continues, "We work for Hullil.  She is sick with the blue vein curse.  We were ordered to allow no one disturb her until sunrise tomorrow.  She is in the back chamber with Raegrin, her apprentice."  For a moment, he pauses before saying with a smirk, "She prays to the dragon queen.  Tiamat hears her call."

 After a few awkward moments (assuming that the party doesn't poop their collective pants in fear) he clears his throat and adds, "Frogs are living in the pools, and a $hit load of bats roost in the first chamber."

"Tiamat has many heads" Kitsune says, her voice steady despite a sudden, violent shiver.  "But none of them are in this cave to save you right now."

She looks at Torvil and Akira.  "The sun doesn't rise for hours.  If we wait, we're giving a cursed priestess of the Dragon Queen time to finish whatever ritual she’s performing.  And I’d rather not meet whatever Raegrin is cooking up in the dark while we're shivering out here."

She turns her gaze back to the bandit, her expression aggressive.  "The bats.  If we move through that chamber, how do we keep from waking the whole roost?  Or, do you and your friends usually just enjoy the smell?"
