"Listen to the dwarf" Kitsune adds, her voice a low, shivering rasp. "He’s got a lot of bounce in him, but not much patience. The longer you stay quiet, the more likely we are to decide you're more useful as a distraction for whatever is hungry in that eastern cave."
With a snarl, the beaten bandit says, "Fine, but get the hells off of me so I can breathe." When Torvil has given him a bit of room to breathe, he continues, "We work for Hullil. She is sick with the blue vein curse. We were ordered to allow no one disturb her until sunrise tomorrow. She is in the back chamber with Raegrin, her apprentice." For a moment, he pauses before saying with a smirk, "She prays to the dragon queen. Tiamat hears her call."
Passive Insight DC 13
He thinks that that knowledge will make you think twice before doing him any more harm; that the very name of Tiamat would be sufficient to change your attitudes.
After a few awkward moments (assuming that the party doesn't poop their collective pants in fear) he clears his throat and adds, "Frogs are living in the pools, and a $hit load of bats roost in the first chamber."

"Tiamat has many heads" Kitsune says, her voice steady despite a sudden, violent shiver. "But none of them are in this cave to save you right now."
She looks at Torvil and Akira. "The sun doesn't rise for hours. If we wait, we're giving a cursed priestess of the Dragon Queen time to finish whatever ritual she’s performing. And I’d rather not meet whatever Raegrin is cooking up in the dark while we're shivering out here."
She turns her gaze back to the bandit, her expression aggressive. "The bats. If we move through that chamber, how do we keep from waking the whole roost? Or, do you and your friends usually just enjoy the smell?"
He looks at Kitsune, pauses for a moment, then replies, "All of those heads have a deadly bite. Hulil prays to Tiamat for a cure. If the Dragon Queen does not offer aid for the blue vein curse she will travel to Shadow Run seeking some magical cure." "With a nod back over his shoulder, he adds, "The passages connect, we avoid the bat den."

“Right. Let’s head south then.” Torvil appears tired, although he’s letting his anger for the elf he’s sitting on fuel his rage. (Bonus actions to continue Rage). “Any of ya have any more healing before we head in there? These buggers hit me with a couple bolts, wore me down.” Torvil is using bandages to tie off his wounds, growling as he does so.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Kitsune silently steps over to Torvil, the silver cloak trailing behind her like a ghostly shroud. She ignores the violent shiver that racks her frame, focusing instead on the jagged bolt wounds peeking through the dwarf's armor. She reaches out, her hand still pale and numb from the pool, and firmly presses her palm against his shoulder.
"Stop your growling for a second, Master Dwarf" she murmurs, her voice thin but warm. "I have one more gift from the wilds, and I'd rather it be in your veins than wasted on the cave floor."
Kitsune cast's Cure Wounds on Torvil, healing him for 11 hp.
