Escavald, after paying the money the shopkeep hands him the bag and nods thanks, wishing him well on his way. Armillo still trails behind, staying quiet for now but seemingly more distracted by watching the dinosaurs race by.

The deputy nods at Mad, hmming to herself while she forms her thoughts on the matter. “Most important in my opinion? Well, actually, one of the few couriers we have for the city went missing a week ago. I had an agent on the case, but we needed to divert resources because of.. other recent matters that needed attending to. That and city council has been a pain so far in terms of warrants and whatnot. So it’s been a waiting game for us. But if you’re willing to go off the grid for it, I’m willing to offer some payment. Depends on the size of your group. Last time the courier was spotted was by the Windham Road tavern in the lower ward. Issue is that we don’t even know their name. Went by ‘The Courier’ and that’s it.” She sighs. “I’ve got two more contacts I can get you in touch with as well.”

@Cain what is he doing while he waits for his weapon?

 Escavald happens to bump into Cain when walking around the shops. "Ah! Greetings; it's you from the ship?"

“Interesting,” Mad says. “What does the courier look like and what were they up to?” (Race, gender, last known location, last person who spoke to them?)
