The missile careen into the bloodied hound as it pulls its jaws back from Alijurn. It seems clearly peeved and has a new target. Meanwhile, as Wick was knocked out, he cannot seem to place where the captain (not the dog) would be.
The Yeth Hound will now charge toward Ashe, floating upwards mid-sprint, and snap at her, Attack: 19 Damage: 15 piercing damage. However, the attack is blocked as the mage armor around Ashe flares like a warning signal.
Dahme'dre moves to stand by Ashe and whispers her usual tune, but in a dissonant tone. "You spent half of your life trying to fall behind. You're using your head, oh, to drown out your mind." Her magic cuts to the creatures psyche, dealing 13 damage. (Wis save, DC 13 for half, or use its reaction to flee.)
She draws her dagger to help defend herself, but she'll refrain from attacking if the opportunity arises. She can't risk letting her guard down.

Furthermore, separate from your magic, the body quickly begins disintegrating into magical essence. A sharp whistle cuts through the soundless void of the Ethereal and then barking ceases, as the hounds slip into the deeper ethereal.

Ashe remains still as if dazed, and mutters, "Stars..." under her breath as she looks at the yeth hound corpse before her. She has been close to death, certainly, but this encounter was especially horrifying for reasons unclear. After a moment, when everyone else seems to regain their own sensibilities, Ashe dusts herself off and puts some distance between her and the beast. She frowns and looks from the dead hound to around the area. Weren't there more enemies onboard? She feels like she is having an out of body experience and cannot tell if it has been seconds, minutes, or even hours right at the moment.

You have no idea how long you’ve been in here.

You grip the wheel of the Scylla and feel the same presence spread throughout the ship. You feel the ship lurch into motion once more. Your mind searches for the shift engine, something that is completely foreign to you. As you race through the planes, you feel the sheer speed of the world around you. Because of the nature of the helm, you are able to instantly attune to the ship. However, to fully utilize the ship, you feel your magic essence entirely bound to the engine. You are essentially a living battery right now. For as long as you are attuned to this ship, you cannot use spell slots. With that being said, you release the magical detonation and punch your way back into the Astral Plane. It is certainly an experience to be sure.
