Character Name: Millie (affectionately called Lil’ Millie by those who know her well) Species/Class: Infested (HB, gonna make it in a sec) Warlock (Archfey Patron, essentially treating her infection as a Feywild thing) Uncommon Item: N/A (yet)
Background: When you’re born in the forest, you come to love it. Regardless of your temperament, your height, or however many legs you have, it becomes a haven for you — the trees gently closing in upon you, protecting you from harm. Millie loved the forest too much.
Born thirty-seven years ago in a village not notable enough to bear a name, she spent her childhood frolicking in the forest — a forest in which the boundaries between the Material Plane and others became thin…
She’d always heard the tales of the strange expanses that the place featured — her mother had always told her that if she saw anything out of the ordinary, she’d be best coming back home — before she was eaten up. Of course, when your peers pressure you into something, it’s hard to back away…
They dared her to pass The Cairns, a strange ring of massive stones, stacked high on top of each other, engraved with strange symbols — the remnants of a language long dead in this world. And, being fleet-of-foot — the “Child of the Woods”, some called her — and brave enough, she was first to step forward.
As soon as she entered The Cairns, she passed out. Her friends said that they saw her enter the stones, then disappear behind the fog. She didn’t re-emerge for hours, by which time her friends were long gone. But by then, it was too late.
Strange, glowing patterns marked her brow and neck, the bioluminescence giving her skin an unearthly pallor. Her hair, once raven and long, now was shorter, a dull, rusty red. And, most notably, her mouth — or, where her mouth was — had disappeared, leaving nothing behind except for flat skin.
With time, she discovered that she wasn’t quite speechless — among some, the infection had granted her the ability to speak in others’ minds. However, with benefits come downsides, as well…
Once she came of age, Millie left the village, seeking adventure, no different than when any child grows up. Her talents gained her notice, and she’s amassed small renown amid some parts. Across the years, she’s learned a bit of magic — and sworn an oath to that what has blessed — and cursed — her bones. It’ll push her around some, but sometimes, it’ll be the thing that makes the copper she needs. Although her ragged body of flesh and bone has begun to age faster than most, she’s still going. Because, no matter who you are, what’s life without a little adventure?

we have 4 people, after wes makes his character, do we want to get 1 more person or are we good?
Four feels like a good number
If you want to stop at 4, you better close submissions fast. Otherwise they'll keep pouring in. I was about to make a fae character for this game till I saw you had all the players you wanted. 😊
Me too - I had also planned on posting. Should you decide to add a 5th (or if one of the other 4 don't work out), I'd like to put in my bid for a healer type. Here's a fun list of feywild species - I would love to play a spriggan (subrace of Woad), cleric of life 1/Druid of stars 2. I might make this PC with a backstory anyway, just for fun.

Since I got a PM that I could join, here is Elaris Windstride, an Eladrin ranger from the Feywild, come to the material plain to find out why it's merging more and more with the Feywild. Her uncommon magic item is a efficient quiver, which lets her carry 60 arrow, as long as many longer things (such as her bow and quarterstaff, with room for a lot more). Thorn is a traveller. Equally at home among the realm of the Feywild and the material plane, they are endlessly curious about other races, and fascinated, but fearful of the advance of civilization to the possible detriment of the forests in which they make their home. As their appearance in human cities has caused some consternation in the past, Thorn has aquired a Hat of disguise, which they use to appear as a human male when in town, reverting to their normal appearance as a humanoid plant creature once safely back in the forest.
Thorn is concerned about the ease of late they have had, passing between this realm and the Feywild; some creatures there should not be free in human lands, they would create too much chaos and havoc. And angered humans, Thorn has learned, tend to cause a lot of damage to the surrounding countryside. So they have come here to see how they can assist in stabilizing the planes...
I was thinking that Elaris and Thorn might know each other from their time in the wilds of the Feywild. Not that Elaris would recognize Thorn when they are using their hat of disguise.

Assuming both of us end up in the campaign, I have no issue with that. And it's likely she wouldn't even know that Thorn uses that hat, as it is itself disquised as part of his foliage when in Spriggan appearance (because a tree wearing a hat is just silly), and he only activates it otherwise when out of the forest in the material plane and in a city or town where is normal appearance could cause issue.

These are NOT the numbers it showed earlier. Weird.

That makes sense…
…and his brother loved worms. AVACADO
