For the goblin loot, the spear-chucking goblins have nothing of value. Only the six goblins who were sporting scimitars have loot. On them you find 6, 2, 6, 6, 2, and 2 sp respectively.
After giving up on finding anything of value on the ogre, you all begin to make your way back toward the stairs and that door. Your exit is interrupted ...
"Hello," an awkward voice says in the common tongue from behind you.
Standing just in the passageway that leads out of the cave is a fair-skinned human with golden eyes and hair. The newcomer is bedecked in leather armor and has a shield strapped to his back. On his person you can see a longsword sheathed at his side, a longbow with a quiver of arrows, and a backpack with rope attached to the side of it. His appearance and bearing are much like an adventurer would be.
"I am not lost," says the newcomer, "my name is Javon Sharpspear. My party spotted you when you passed near our encampment, and I followed you to scout out your intentions. Many vile humanoids come to and fro from the Caves of Chaos."
Javon steps forward his torch in hand, so he can see your group more clearly, and also so he can be seen by you.
Markas will volunteer "We're here seeking Lhodis, a wealthy merchant whose caravan was ambushed on the road to the south. We've tracked the probable attackers to this general location."
Amar turns on his conventional charm. "Stranger we mean you no harm. But your story is thin. Are we to believe you and your friends grabbed a cask of ale, wandered into the woods, the you got bored, took a stroll through the magically tortured woods, past piles of well chewed bones and stuck your head in a cave just to say G'day? We'll need some more, friend."
Javon stretches out his hand--torch in one, the other empty.
"My party is camped on top of a tall hill overlooking the road that leads back to the Keep. We were sent out by the Castellan to find an encampment of bandits that have been harassing travelers. We thought perhaps you were some of them, so they sent me to find out. I lost you in the gnarled woods outside the caves, but picked up the din of battle coming out of his cave."
He looks about, his eyes stopping on the downed ogre.
"You clearly are a formidable group," he continues, "and from your makeup I doubt you are bandits." He pauses a moment to look at Pagan, but it is a familiar look of unfamiliarity as dragonborns are not common.
He turns to Markas. "I know of this Lhodis. He and his wife live in the Keep--in the outer bailey. He is extremely friendly and generous. I did not know he had gone missing. My company has been away for almost a tenday it seems."
Javon hesitates for a moment as if he is internally conflicted.
"If you will have me, I shall help you find him." He kneels and bows his head as a sign of trust and respect.
Markas responds to Javon: "We all only just met a few days past and decided to search for Lhodis together. I wouldn't turn down another bow and sword. But the decision is not mine alone to make."
He'll turn to the others: "His story is not all that far-fetched, I don't completely trust any of you... but I don't see why we shouldn't add another, he looks capable enough."
"Very well," says Pagan relaxing a bit. He turns to the newcomer. "You should know- we didn't kill ALL of the nasties down here. There are still a few Goblins lurking about, so stay ready."
Amar says warmly, "Welcome newcomer! Be warned that these two are a bit testy and mange to launch arrows and darts at each other while attacking goblins." Amar gestures at Pagan and Markas. He continues, "Shorty is good with a javelin and she's a touch firey" hooking a thumb at zerys. "Me I'm just lovable."
You make your way back through the carnage avoiding Amar's mini pit, and once again you cautiously and quietly climb the steps to the enigmatic door.
Javon is a level 2 fighter whose fighting style is archery--like Markas. How would you like to incorporate him into the marching order?
Now that we're at the door again, what is the plan? Is Brumdal just knocking it down or do you want to listen to it or do any other inspection before that?
Zerys points out that listening for a minute may reveal valuable insight
Brumdal and Markas I think should lead with Pagan and Javon bringing up the rear. Goblins have shown some rudimentary ambush skill
Thoughts?
Sounds good to me. Markas prefers his bow, but will admit he probably is best in front in this particular environment.
Markas will remind everyone "I heard what sounded like cheering or something from behind this door earlier". He'll walk up to it and press his ear against it.
After several minutes of searching the little giant, you find ... nothing of value.

I've distributed the wealth evenly and updated all of your character sheets.
Zerys say, "All right the poverty of Ogres won't be solved this afternoon. Let's go open that door."
Battle Map
Just to show the total carnage...
Amar eyes the new stranger, "Hello, don't mind the mess. I am sure the goblins don't. Are you a bit lost?"
Amar eyes him closely to see any missed details and generally see what his intuition says.
Zerys looks for his source of illumination here in the caves ... is there a torch?
Zerys scoffs, "Oh that invisible encampment we completely missed. Try again Javon."
Pagan takes a close look at the newcomer. "What party?" Pagan's Jade eyes do not blink. His hand rests upon the hilt of his Shoto.
Markas will volunteer "We're here seeking Lhodis, a wealthy merchant whose caravan was ambushed on the road to the south. We've tracked the probable attackers to this general location."

"Now lets go kick a door down."

Do you want anyone with darkvision in the back?
Brumdal, Markas, and Zerys all have that gift.
