crispy: The tattoo of the eye looks vaguely familiar, but you can’t pinpoint from where. One of the men has what looks like tribal markings and the other has none.
Yasei and Cora: A lot of the maps and documents mainly track the Bounty Board and common travel and hunting routes to known hot spots for creatures. You may recognise some of the charcoal portraits of hunters with their travel patterns noted underneath them. Additionally you see plans to hunt using unethical procedures and taiming methods. With a 19, you find a folder which was left in a locked drawer. Inside, you find documents which roughly, somewhat accurately record the group’s travel patterns from when you travelled from the City of Rust to your arrival at The Guild. Your room numbers are noted down and records of the trip you took to the Rust Monster Breeding Grounds. Between these documents and the ones you found in the other room, it appears the intention was to keep tabs on the guild while also tracking and following (mainly) Cora.
Additionally, you see some newer maps leading into the woods up north, with “The Sting Dagger” written on them and the woods circled. The name “Spider’s Hollow” also seems to be synonymous with these woods. That must be the place Ren was talking about, but it seems to have some other interest and relevance to Aerik. You also recognise the “The Sting Dagger” from the list of items you found earlier.
(It’s up to you players to keep track or notes of this sorta stuff)
Dani: The darts deal an additional 1d6 poison damage on hit.
Rosli: You find no traps or treasures in this room. It is minimilistic and looks like it was used primarily for planning.
Yasei to the group: "Shall we return all these items to Master Xolag, collect our reward, and then pursue this Aerik-san fellow? I know most of us, Cora-san included, could surely use a good nights rest in a warm comfy bed!"
“Who is Master Xolag?” Crispy asks, looking and memorizing the map of the woods. “And yes, a nights rest does sound good, and then im heading into the woods.”
Whoever Aerik was working with, or for, was keeping tabs on her, and Yasei. And the cat and the redhead that reminded her of Nia.
It's the wee hours of the morning when your group re-trace your steps back to the Guild. All is still and quiet on your journey back to home base.
Mr Bradley silently greets you at the entrance with the slightest of nods, almost as if he is in a semi conscious state before you return to your rooms and crash for the night.
As exhausted as you are, questions plague your minds. What has happened to Cora? Who is Aerik and what is he doing here? What are his plans and why is he watching you?
Cora especially, as you attempt to get comfortable with the iron collar around your neck, you can't shake the feeling of being watched. Constantly. That man's words echo throughout your mind; "We are 'The All Seeing Stars' in the night sky. We know your every move."
Spending the whole trip in quiet contemplation, Rosli will go directly to bed without a word when they arrive at the guild hall. When she wakes she would like to find a shop/armory somewhere in the guild hall.
OOC: Ideally she wants to find someone who sells weapons (two high quality short swords, a short bow and arrows), tool/supplies (thieves tools, brewer tools and painter supplies) and can assess some of the items she found. Let me know if I need a roll.
Crispy went to her room after asking where it was, not caring about anything else. She went over the details of everything since remembering who she was and where she came from. Eventually, she fell asleep, a bit concerned that her Father would pay her a visit in her dreams but that didnt happen.
Instead, it was vague flashbacks of people she once loved, and people that once loved her. Borg. Ashley. Nia. Lilly. Many others lost to time since she had outlived them all. Her heart did cartwheels at the memory, but stopped as her mind focused on a woman she didnt know. A paladin in massive hulking armor, a woman, piercing green eyes and auburn hair. When she spoke it was with an accent not from around here. Everything about her was calculating and menacing, as if she was on a personal vendetta.
”You. Who are you?” Crispy said sleepily through the haze.
“I am Misha.” she said camly, her accent thick. “In your travels, you have made many enemies. I have been created to serve one, and only one purpose: to conquer you. Soon, I will find you, and I will reunite you with your father for eternity.”
Crispy woke and dressed. She sat at the end of bed and was lost in thought until she heard a knock at the door. Who..?? She almost killed the person entering until she saw it was Yasei.
”Get this ******* collar off me.” Was all she said, putting her blades aside.
Crispy saw the one called Danica come in as Yasei was working and tugging at her collar. She didn't make any hostile moves, and so far stayed with the group and didn't yell and cry and poke her in the chest like the housecat did. "You're quiet. You don't say much." Crispy said to Dani. "How do you know all of us- OW! ****, *****!" Crispy turned to Yasei annoyed, "Watch it, that crimped my skin."
As Yasei was trying to get the collar off, she admitted something to the samurai. "I had a dream last night, if you could call it that. All the loved ones in my life. I could see them all, like..a hazy collage of my memories. But, before it ended, I saw a woman I've never seen before. She spoke to me. She was like me..but..strong. Very strong. Powerful. In full plate armor. She had an accent I didn't recognize, and..it's like she was on a mission solely to kill me, like she was bred for one purpose. She said she was going to reunite me with my Father. Misha. She said her name was Misha. And then it was over."
She was quiet for a moment as she tugged.
"I feel like this is the end for me. After so long. I'm..just..i'm so tired, and i'm not sharp anymore. It's like I just want to sleep, all the time. You know that feeling? I can feel the years rapidly catching up to me. The bargain with Hell kept me around for so long, I just can't do this anymore. But..i've got to find Aerik and figure out what's going on. One..last..mission."
[sorry for the late reply. Hiked through Mordor and needed a day or two to recover haha]
Cora, Dani and Yasei. The collar is indeed interesting. You give it an absolute solid attempt at getting it off. An attempt which you know would have broken off any other iron collar. As this flexed and bent, it was like some faint, yellow electric energy, the same colour as the pearl inset in the front, was holding it together. If it cracked or separated, this energy would arc and hold it together like strings.
Rosli: Your search for a merchant takes you outside to one of the many tents which are set up in the small, temporary village outside of the Guild. You see a short Goblin standing behind a work bench with all kinds of balls, trinkets and weapons. On a makeshift sign which has been nailed to the front of his bench, messily written in black paint it says “GIldan’s Glorious Goods”
"Yes. Perhaps a wizard might be able to dispel the enchantment long enough to remove the collar."Turning to Cora she answered "I only know everyone else from our shared adventure since waking up in the cages together. Speaking of which, there was a number tattooed onto your arm, you assumed it was your surname. Do you know now if it means anything?"
Crispy took a moment to try and control her anger, and distract herself from the pain she was feeling in her neck, along with the failure at getting it off. A long time ago, such things would not bother her physically, and she could take a very large amount of abuse and pain.
Recently, that wasn't the case. She felt old, used, and tired. So tired.
She looked at her arm. "It does. To me. It's my last name. I was born with the name Cora Perkins. I was given the name "Crispy" in the military where I learned to kill people. The number is a date. It's when I come from. I got it tattooed on my arm so i'd never forget who I was, or when I came from. It's a long story."
Crispy looked at Danica to make sure she wasn't kidding or not. It didn't look like she was.
"You know, it's funny." she said, almost breaking a full smile. "I look at you and you remind me of someone I knew long ago. I'm in this whole mess because of her. Because..I was foolish, and impulsive, and angry. I didn't listen - and I never changed. I've been paying for it for as long as I can remember. You know want to know me. I'm a big ******* mess.."
Sitting down next to the Goblin Rosli will wave to him before hammering with a barrage of questions and comments "Hi. Do you have any really nice swords? I need a short bow, a quiver and arrows too. Do you have any gift wrap? Umm do you have anything to help me ste... Open locks? What about paints? I need two nice drink jugs and brewer tools! Oh I have some stuff I wanna get you to look at too. Have you worked here long?"

Crispy screamed in frustration, nearly spitting as a trail of expletives charged out of her mouth.
Yasei: "I believe the collar is attached via magical means...perhaps we should find a wizard in the guild who can cast a spell to have it removed?"
Additionally, Yasei wants to go visit Master Xolag and present all the information from the anti-guild guild.
Last to know and first to be blamed...
