The middle of town has a large round stage made of stone. Stairs lead up to it in a 360° fashion and a tall marble water fountain is situated in the middle. There, on the steps, sits what appears to be a human in ragged clothes. They are hunched over, mumbling to themselves and wailing sadly.
Yasei, suddenly feeling a pang of sadness at the wailing stranger, slowly approaches the ragged human with her arms and hands spread out in a "I'm harmless" fashion. "Hello there?"
Insight check (3) to see if I can tell if the human is truly sad, or faking it to draw us in.
As this individual turns, you see a face of sheer horror. Words alone cannot begin to describe the spine numbing fear which each of you experience. It takes each of you back initially, as it snarls and Wailes at you! It's like gravity is doubled as the weight of what you're seeing sinks in- the outsides of your vision begin to darken- what the hell IS that thing?
Y'all need to make a DC16 wisdom saving throw against being frightened.
" A frightened creature has disadvantage on ability checks and attack rolls while the source of its fear is within line of sight. The creature can't willingly move closer to the source of its fear."
The creature stops running just short of you and let's out a cocophenous bellow which doesn't seem natural at all. It sounds like a ship's horn, hurting your ears. At the start of your turn, I need a con save of 16 or you take 10 psychic damage.
Your hands tremble from fear- each beat of your heart feels like it’s making your entire body shake. Your ears are filled with the heavy -boom- -boom- of your heartbeat, deafening your to anything else. You cannot bring yourself to attack let alone move any closer to this thing which looks like some scrawny skeletal teenager with a ghastly face!
I forgot to add- you can repeat your saving throw at the end of your turns.

The creature backs up slightly, still staring at you each with it’s ghastly gaze!
