Using the momentum of the ropes tied to each other, the two monks are finally able to make it across! Well done :)
The final stretch requires some focus. In order to make it over the last part of floating debrees, you need to figure out the timing and pattern of when the various rocks and earth line up for you to cross.
Everyone needs to make a Wisdom Perception- or- Intelligence Investigation check. Feel free to try and help each other out again, because if you fail a DC of 14, you fall, taking 66 bludgeoning damage
OOC: Crispy needs to roll a Perception or Investigation check, DC14.
Nice work! All tied together, Yasei watches as the other three girls manage to successfully cross the final stretch of hovering earth. Teamwork makes the dream work!
You are now on the final, large chunk of land, suspended hundreds of feet in the air. Ahead of you, a tall spire made from stone can be seen not too far away with a gleaming light emitting from the top most windows.
As you approach, just outside, you see a beaten elderly man propped up against a small tree. He looks ragged and his silk robes are torn and covered in dust and ash. One of his eyes is swollen closed, but he seems transfixed on the tower.
The older man looks over to you slowly and says “My name, is Riktor... and I have been forced out of my own tower” he says in a strained voice, with pissed off undertones.
"My apprentice... I created a magical item- I'm a rare magic user, you see? Warlock, Weave user, ... Wizard, whatever you wish to call me. I created an artifact which allows the user to extend their period of concentration- namely with the power of telekenisis. I though tthat it would aid with my study of things Arcane... About a ten day ago, while I was asleep, he... I warned him against it- told him that that his mind is too inexperienced- but he stole it and wore it without my knowing as I slept- It has now consumed him with overflowing power and I cannot fight him any longer. His mental senses have been heightened and his magic strengthened!"
Yasei mumbles: "Always two there are, no more, no less: a master and an apprentice."
"Where can we find this apprentice of yours, Master Wizard? And any suggestions for how to talk him out of doing what he's doing, without hurting anyone in the end?"

Trying to run up to him but being held by the ropes "Helloooo... old guy, are you okay?"
"Old man." Crispy says, drawing her blades. "Who are you, and what is this tower? Speak."
The older man looks over to you slowly and says “My name, is Riktor... and I have been forced out of my own tower” he says in a strained voice, with pissed off undertones.

"Ok." Crispy nods, "Gee that's too bad. Did you cause this..mess?"
He lets out a long, over-exagerrated sigh.

"Mhmm." Crispy nods, sagely, thoughfully. "And..where is your moron of an apprentice now?"
He motions with his head to the light at the top of the tower. "I doubt he even has any handle on himself now. He's just oozing with magic. "
