8 Survival

The wolverine healing kicks in. Ahhhhh. Cora catches Rosli flexing, and smiles, rolling her eyes. Those itty bitty little pea shooters sure looked cute.

Danica wasn't quite sure why she was being flexed at, but she acknowledged the Tabaxi lass' dedication to her art and flexed back.

Cora reaches over and squeezes Dani's arm, giving her a somewhat impressed look afterwards.

[I feel like this is a moment which Gregor would love. RIP]

Dani notices a few spots of surface rust among some reddish sand which look like they have flaked off various items. Following this trail leads you all towards larger pieces of salvaged scrap, seemingly dragged here.
The sand turns to  reddish hue and when you rise over a dune suddenly, hidden in plain sight, a huge metallic scrap yard which is completely rusted can be seen blending in to the surrounding sands. It looks like a miniature scrap city, with various scrap piled on top of each other forming tunnels and towers of rusted metal! You see some hard shelled creatures roaming over the place, munching and transporting some metallic items. They have long, wispy antennae and sharp teeth!

"Aww!" Cora mews, "Look at the cute puppy! Can we pet it?"

Danica gave the Rust Monster a disgusted look. "Sure, we could pet it." She murmoured.

Cora clapped her hands happily. You're starting to get the impression she's not kidding.

Yasei will grab a piece of scrap metal from a pile, kneel down, and try to entice one of the rust puppies over (Animal Handling: 2)

OOC: Yeaaaaaah, that worked well....

Cora looks at her blades, and at the rust puppies. The scrapyard. "Wait a minute..." she says, staring at all the rust, and the metallic weapons, and what the rust puppies are eating. "I don't have any dog food!!" She realizes.

When Cora pulls out her shiny rust free blades, 10 heads pop up, antennae quivering with excitement and the rust puppies come booooounding over.

After Yasei’s poor attempt at animal husbandry, she quickly stands up and withdraws when she sees the massive group rapidly approaching Cora.

Rosli will tilt her head towards Cora in astonishment "... Puppies? All I see is bugglies." before the look of surprise gives way to disgust "I think they're coming this way."

"WA!" Cora barks in surprise and shock, "Too many puppies! Run!!"

I sheathe my blades and bolt back the way we came with Yasei.

Sheathing her blades seems to make the rust monsters want to pursue the smell of fresh clean metal even more! Fortunately, Cora's quick initiative means your group manages to go first! Good news is you have a bit of space between then and yourselves. What would you all like to do?
