Dazed and weak with blood loss, Crispy‘s vision started to fade and darken. She saw three individuals burst into the room, and her head spun with dizziness. Out of the corner of her eye, for just a moment, she thought a person from her early past had come to save her, and she could think of mothing else.

Nia.

Could it be? But..how? The warlock had died so long ago. They had spent a lifetime together and the memories distracted her from the situation she was in. For a moment, she felt love, and warmth, and joy.

But it wasen’t Nia. 

This redhead was stronger, taller, older. She fought with her hands, and her physique was proof of it. Crispy started to see stars, and she began to pass out again. She looks so much like her..

Round 1

initiative: Aerik, Dani, Ryu, Rosli, Yasei, Crispy.

Aerik seems to be chanelling a spell, furiously. His eye sweeps over to you all near the enterance. When he does so, you see Ryu grasp his head and reel around, grunting and yelling. He quickly looks back down at Crispy and back at the table he is working on. He lifts an ornate yet practical looking iron collar with a smooth yellow pebble inset into it to the creature on his shoulder. It scurries down and attempts to put it on Crispy! Crispy, make a dex ST vs 23

Ryu’s Acrobatic DC: 12

The first person to push past, Ryu uses his reaction to take an AOO: Attack: 11 Damage: 7

Dani’s up!

Crispy struggles weakly, her head down, half awake. 14

-ka-chink- you feel the cold embrace of steel around your neck. It's not entirely uncomfortable, but it's on there firmly.

Is it a mind control collar or something?

Danica somersaulted over the orc attempting to bar her path and let loose a flurry of punches and kicks on the person who put the suspicious looking collar on Cora.

Attack: 15 Damage: 9

DEX save vs 13 or fall prone.

Not so much a person...

Unfortunately, (this may have been my bad communication) pushing past Ryu would have counted as your action. You can still move up to where Cora is, ready for next turn if you would like.

Ryu scouls at you as you summersault past him. He draws his long blade and slashes accross Yasei. Attack: 16 Damage: 11 He sheathes it and quickly slashes out at Rosli with his shortsword: Attack: 24 Damage: 9 He then throws a dart behind him at Dani which glows with a green energy as he releases it: Attack: 23 Damage: 10

Initiative: Aerik, Dani, Ryu, Rosli, Yasei, Crispy.

Rosli, Yasei Crispy are up!

(Yasei and Rosli, you choose on your turn if you want to push past Ryu or attack him)

GAH! What the hell is THAT.

I try and strain out of my leg restraints again. Come onnnn muscles, don't fail me now. 9

Crispy felt herself weak with blood loss. She gripped her cut bicep and bit down on the rag in her mouth as her eyes struggled to keep open. Her hand was covered in blood, and she was slipping. So cold.

Soon. I'm coming, Mother.

Back a couple posts ago (#1202) Yasei made a STR contest to push past Ryu, I think?  If not, she wants to push past whatever is blocking her path between her and Aerik, as she wants to make a ranged attack on Aerik to ruin his concentration on whatever spell he’s working on.

On that note, if I’m able to make this ranged attack now, here goes. If not, ignore those and I’ll roll for the attack next round. Yasei will pull out one of Cora’s short swords and literally throw it at Aerik (improvised weapon attack rules for throwing a melee weapon in a ranged attack):

Attack: 20 Damage: 4

Yasei: yea! You can use that STR check if you like to get past him. That would be your action this turn, you still have movement and throw next turn,

Yasei hurls the short sword at Aerik. It hits! Slicing part of his gown on his shoulder. Concentration save: 12

While i'm barely conscious, I try and use my hands and get my foot bindings loose. So dizzy. Make it count, *****.

Stumbling backwards Rosli will attack Ryu by focusing three rapid kicks directly onto his right knee.

Attack: 26 Damage: 8 Main

Attack: 10 Damage: 8 FoB

Attack: 12 Damage: 7 FoB

The first hit knocks Ryu's knee to the right and he flinches slightly, almost going down. His eyes flicker when you do so, the white almost fading from them.

He parries the other two attacks off.

ROUND 2

Aerik's magic circle changes from red to an amber colour. His little spider like friend scurries back to his shoulder, taking the disengage action. "I will always see you, Crispy Perkins. I will always be one step ahead of you and I will haunt you and your pathetic friends for what you did to me AND MY FAMILY!" He spits. Parts of his body begin to fragment and lift away like burnt paper in a fire. In a roar of flame, he and his creature, are gone.

Dani is up!

Initiative: Dani, Ryu, Rosli, Yasei, Crispy.

Dani reared back in disgust, but attacked the monster to try and drive it off so she could free Cora from her bonds.

Attack: 11 Damage: 7

Attack: 15 Damage: 9

Attack: 15 Damage: 8

Attack: 19 Damage: 9

DEX save vs 13 or fall prone.

Crispy passes out from her wounds, and exausted from her struggle.

Seeing as Aerik and the small creature are gone, I'll direct that towards Ryu, still standing guard in front of the others. Dani's strikes mostly miss, but one hits Ryu in the back of the knee. He automatically fails his saving throw, as since Aerik and his creature have gone Ryu has been clutching his head in pain. He falls down to one knee, and one of his pupils comes back into view.

Crispy passes out.

Ryu is up. He takes his first, curls it up in to a ball and repeatley hits himself in the head. "GET. OUT. OF. MY. HEAD!" He yells. You guys are up.

Initiative: Dani, Ryu, Rosli, Yasei, Crispy

Danica raised an eyebrow at that. Was this person being controlled? Danica held off attacking for a moment to see if she could determine what was going on.

It's definitely strange. You noticed Ryu's eyes were pure white when you came in the room, and that's not usually natural.
