One hand lowers slightly moving in a slow, deliberate gesture in the air, fingers curling inward as though drawing something unseen downward into dark water. Her voice follows:

A deep, low rumble of a bell tolls beneath the sounds of battle.The magic surges toward the thug gripping Mia.
Lethira’s attention settles back onto the man standing directly in front of her. Firelight flickers across the face of her shield as she adjusts her stance.
“You should leave,” she says calmly. “Before the current decides to keep you.”
