Sorry, getting my dwarf characters confused. Dagna is even worse than Brynja at riddles!
The voice speaks again, "Always on the run... So she can't have fun..."

Tarathi mulls over what she heard and looks at the surrounding area for anything that has fox imagery. She pays particular attention to Inns nearby. "It sounds like a nimble fox that does not know where to call home. So, it never settles and I think we need to find where it can stay. At least that is my understanding of those cryptic words"
Again the voice speaks, "Tells one lie... And she will DIE!" The last word echoes in your minds. The regular din of the city resumes and you don't hear the voice again.

After a moment, Caelar says, "Well, that was ominous." He looks around again. "We'll also need a place to stay, if we're going to be here for any length of time. I think we should find an inn, and keep an eye out for any fox imagery, including statues, or anything else that matches these cryptic clues we've gotten. And we can innocently ask the innkeeper and some locals about any landmarks or people we should see... all without lying, apparently."
"A sound plan" Says Tarathi as she walks about looking for an Inn.
As Tarathi walks around, she is surprised at how many cats are on the street, she also finds an inn 2 buildings in from the entrance.

Tarathi looks at the cluster of cats with a bit of curiosity and then enters the Inn to inquire about how much for a room.
As you enter you see no one in the lobby besides a Tabaxi sitting behind the receptionist desk.

Tarathi walks up to the receptionist and says "Excuse me I have 2 questions. 1 why is it completely empty in here and 2 how much is it for a room?"
The Tabaxi looks at Tarathi, "People don't like how I do business, and it's 10 gold per room per night."

"Tell me more how do you do business? Are there some unique unwritten rules in here?" says Tarathi
He leans forward, "Every time you break something, it'll cost you 100 gold."

Tarathi turns to her companions "What do you say about staying here?"
"I'll find my own lodging" Magnus says
