Seeing that there isn't much else he can do, Caelar sighs. "I want to make it clear that while I am strongly considering helping you," he says, "I should not be considered a 'willing vessel.' I like having my own free will. But as far as helping, I'm not seeing a lot of alternatives." He turns more fully toward their host. "So do you have a group of followers, someone we could go talk to that would be more willing to help you out? Seems to me a former god would still have worshipers. And that sort of person should be more than willing."

"Divine being or whatever the hell you are what guarantee can you give us that you will hold up your end of the deal? " Magnus says annoyed at them not actually giving an answer

She sighs, "Barley anyone knows about me, and even fewer worship me. But there are some devoted to me, just not in the upper world. And Caelar, unless you want me controlling your body, I can't. And Magnus, I will give each of you a weapon of your choosing as a sign of promise."

Caelar nods. "I'll accept as well." He motions toward the axe slung across his back. "I'm pretty good with greataxes. If you've got a better one than this mundane one here, I'd be happy to take that."

 I rolled just a d20, but if you hover over it, it says "1d20+8" which I did NOT do. It also says it was "9+8=17" which it also is not. I see 19, and that's all I've seen so far.

 Dagma nods, and asks, "Does the volunteer get anything for giving up their body? It might be easier to get someone willing if they get something out of it."

Dagna frowns, "I'm not strong enough or agile enough to use a normal weapon, only a Shillelagh, But that's fine, I'll help as best I can anyway."

Dagna thinks that the reason she got the clerical powers that make able to fight is to do this task. So as far as she's concerned, she's already been paid. A better armor or shield would be appreciated though. Not that she'd ask for it.   8
