Leon does his best to stay out of the way of the devourer, his knowledge limited on the beast but the little he knew was enough to tell him it was not something you wanted to get attacked by. The orc, despite him radiating powerful energy, was the least of his concerns. He was going to have to keep his distance with both of them, his fingers tightening on the dart, low key wishing he had a bow on him.
((Leon is going to try and focus on the devourer, but if the orc gets close he will not hesitate to hop on that b*tch))

Given the forces arrayed against them, Danitriel was tempted to exercise the better part of valour and flee in the hopes of luring their enemies into a trap, but then that option was taken off the table. Scrambling to think of a way to give the team some kind of advantage in the fight Danitriel cast Faerie Fire, dropping the 20 foot cube of blue flames to encompass all their foes. "Here goes nothing..." She murmured.
Dex save vs 12
Edit: If my turn comes back up before I wake up Dani will hang back at the back of the group and will either attack with Vicious Mockery or if someone gets badly hurt she'll Cure Wounds them.
Danitriel of the Vicious Mockery casts Faerie Fire - here are the saves: 8, 19
Got the Orc! The Devourer resists the spell. Must be smart =P Brain with feet. The Orc casts FIRE BOLT at Dani in retaliation: Attack: 5 Damage: 8
HAHA! Nat1. Lucky, guys. The spell goes off prematurely in the Orcs face, and he takes the damage instead. It wails in pain, his body on fire, he kneels and continues to scream as the Devourer sprints past it. Judging by the orc's mishap, he looks nearly dead. Floon squirms out of the way, but is still prone. He looks very beat up as well, but not from the Orc's spell, from the interrogation.
PHERAL, FC, AZRAEL, and ASTRID are up. You can go in any order. I know Azrael has an attack planned, so i'll leave it up to you all who goes when.

My turn?!
FC, we may have a talk later about proper compensation for dealing with an intellect devourer. Pheral makes a decision to take advantage of the situation and shoot the glowing Orc that just blasted himself in the face.
Sneaky PEW PEW ! Attack: 22 Damage: 12
After her shot she ducks down the stairs again to try breaking line of sight. Stealth 23

CHAPTER ONE - A FRIEND IN NEED PART FIVE - THE GUILD HIDEOUT THAT'S GONNA LEAVE A MARK.
Pheral's shot hits the Orc. Lythril shouts out her threat, and holds her shield up with perfect timing. Floon shrieks and dives away, covering his face. Like a detonated fire bomb, the hit causes the remaining spell energies to erupt, and in a mighty explosion, the Orc explodes in a mighty blast. The Intellect Devourer gets caught in the blast and splats against the wall - it "screams" as it catches on fire, and dies a slow painful death of third degree burns, Azrael can't hide his disappointment at the fact he doesn't get to launch his spell after all that buildup.
As Lythril peeks over her shield, she can see Floon in a fetal position, shaking in fear from what just happened, scared to look up.
Wow, nice rolls lol (Sorry, normally i'd let you describe a nat20 result, but I couldn't help myself.)
Now would be a good time to save Floon, and return to the streets, OR you can explore the hideout some more.
Pheral stands I awe for a moment at the perfect alignment of circumstances to 1 shot the enemy.
...I ment to do that. Yep, that was the plan from the start. Pheral tries to flourish and holster her cross bow like a trick shot on one of those traveling carnivals. Performance 16
In a satchel, the Orc carries his spellbook, which contains the following spells: burning hands, disguise self, false life, shield, unseen servant, and witch bolt. Tucked behind the stone chair is a small, unlocked wooden chest containing two potions of healing, 16 gp, 82 sp, and 250 cp.
Floon is at 1hp. Someone might want to help him oot.
Floon, a very handsome man, is very relieved to be saved from the torture of the Orc wizard, who apparently wasn't very good. He hugs Lythril after the heal, profusely thanking her, and the rest of you for his rescue. He has no idea why anyone would want to capture him and do terrible things to him, and is very anxious to be returned to Waterdeep.

Astrid low-fives Pheral (ain’t no high fives allowed with her vertical challengedness), and then proceeds to investigate the room to see if she can learn more about the people who kidnapped Floon (knowledge is power) (Investigation: 15)
While Astrid snoops around, Floon explains that the Orc was interrogating him thinking Floon was Raenar - asking him questions about the location of the Stone of Galor, which originally belonged to Raenar's father. When the Orc realized that Floon was not Raenar, he decided to kill Floon regardless to impress the Mind Flayer. Looks like the Zhents made a mistake and brought in the wrong man in. Raenar managed to hide in the warehouse and was saved by you all. From what the Orc was saying, The Xanathar guild was in possession of the Stone of Galor, the only item that can find the whereabouts of Raenar's father's Dragon horde, until it was stolen by someone. Xanathar thinks it was the Zhents, but from what the Orc was saying, it's not true. They didn't do it.
"The Mind Flayer didn't speak, but I have a feeling this is a deeper problem than we think. That's why there's all of this gang fighting on the streets." Floon says. He turns to FC. "Good to see you, FC. Thanks for saving my ass."
Options or potions? Are you on your phone typing? LOL
The spellbook contains the spells listed above. A caster of the appropriate type can add said spells to their list of available spells, and cast them at a later time should they be memorized.
