DANITRIEL: A good roll, but your observations don't provide any other information that it's a magic teleportation device that's activated by some sort of key, hence the indentation on the statue. It is, clearly, of Xanatharian make.
LEON: A few other party members noticed you're facing a direction that's completely opposite to everyone else, even standing at the entrance to another room. Haha!
AZRAEL: You're not being ignored, take what you want from the loots and share what's leftover.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Blood rushes to Leon’s cheeks, flushing in embarrassment, this time turning to look anywhere else for anything (loot, anything of interest). They might have already picked this place clean but it didn’t hurt to double check

HAHA sorry, Leon. Nothing of interest. You guys have picked this place clean <3
REMINDER: You guys found a chest by where the Mind Flayer's stone chair was. A small, unlocked wooden chest containing two potions of healing, 16 gp, 82 sp, and 250 cp for you to divvy up among yourselves.
The blond gives up on trying to find anything and heads over to the chest where the stone chair was, putting the potions on the side and started to divide the coin as evenly as possible. At least he could do this.

FC has got his treasure. His good mate Floon, safe and sound. He'd happily take a hp potion for his share, and recommends a few ales back at the yawning portal with their new found wealth. He's not so keen on a detour to the local authorities... but understands if some feel that way inclined.
"Once we divvy up the loot we should go back and report all of this to the City Watch. I don't think we'll find the key here, so I think all we can really do at the moment is just keep our eyes open." Danitriel said thoughtfully.
“I agree with Danitriel,” Leon says finishing up the amounts, sliding the coins in separate piles for everyone to get their share. “But if everyone else agrees to something else, then I will hold no issue.”
He takes it upon himself to take the pile with the least amount of gold (as it wasn’t easy dividing the coin between 7, and because he didn’t feel too useful). “I hope this seems fair to everyone...”

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Azrael refused the gold, saying Give whatever my share would be to Danitriel. And let it never be said I do not pay back my debts. Any debts. Though I cannot say I am not disappointed that she did not take me up on my other compensatory offer! he said with honest mirth. If no one complains, however, I would like to take the other potion.. In case another troll shows up or similar.. he says in all seriousness. I was brought too close to death at that time, and I'd like to at-least be a little more self reliant in an emergency. However, if someone else legitimately feels they need it more, I will not begrudge you.
After a pause, and a quick dusting of his robes... Though as it seems there is nothing else of value here, I suppose we should leave. And FatCat, I feel you do not want the city involved for your .. own reasons. However, I suggest we have at-least one person do it anyway. Think of it like revenge. These people took your friend. Alerting the city watch to this will make life.. more difficult for them. It's a petty spite, but a spite it is, nonetheless.
Still, if no one else took the book of spells, Azrael would take it himself. perhaps he could make a little money for his temple this way, as someone would likely buy it, and with so many spells inside, it might fetch a moderate price. he'd have enough to keep his temple going for a while, and keep his pack supplied with necessities.
Astrid quickly grabs her piles of cold hard coin, with a huge grin on her face, and proudly stuffs it all into her pack. How the heck can she carry that much coin?! That pile, even with everyone elses, was the size of her!
She begins to whistle a happy tune, rather loudly, while grinning ear to ear and skipping out of the sewers with the rest of the group. "Gonna see....my bud-eeeeeee.......Crispy!"
Danitriel bowed to Azrael. "Let it never be said that you are not a man of your word. As to the other matter..." She said with her eyes twinkling with amusement "Let us just say the last last Dragonborn gentleman who's acquaintance I made was 'uncomfortably large' and leave it at that."
CHAPTER ONE - A FRIEND IN NEED EPILOGUE PO PO REPORT AND THE YAWNING PORTAL.
The City Watch headquarters is in a mild state of chaos. As you approach the front desk to give your report, the clerk is barely paying attention to you - mostly out of worry because of the rise in faction violence, and because he's trying to listen to an argument. As he accepts your details, his head keeps turning back and forth from a yelling match that two investigator-type officers are having with a group of high ranking City Watch officers. One of the investigators, the woman, is yelling and screaming while the male investigator just listens. The City Watch officers yell back at her and it just seems to get more and more heated as the seconds tick away. While not hearing the entire conversation, the woman is basically trying to push her professional clout around regarding a dangerous plan she's had in mind to take out Xanathar, and the City Watch hate the idea for the safety of the city. The thought that she even has to DEAL with the City Watch to do what she wants is so completely absurd to her, and thus the argument goes round and round.

Back at the yawning Portal, Floon and Raenar greet each other warmly, and thank you all for risking your lives to save them. Raenar hands something to FC as a sign of thanks. It looks like it's a scroll tube. The tube contains a deed to Trollskull Manor, a historic building in the North Ward that you all can claim as a home base. The deed has been notarized and appears legitimate.
Congratulations, you all are now property owners! CHAPTER TWO BEGINS after all of you do what you wish to do before we visit your new base of operations.
