Lythril's anger fades over time, the lack of action puts her into a calmer state. "So you're sayn it wasn't this guy here but somebody else that tried to take my head off? Alright then, if it was your friend and it made a mistake we'll deal with it when we find it eh? Let's go before it gets too far." She reverently lays the broken bird on a table and steps out of the room, ready to follow the tracker.

Just to be clear, it WAS Nim's mechanical bird who "attacked" you guys, and Nim who ran back into the attic of the temple, but he didn't mean to attack you with the bird, the bird kind of..ran..into you by accident - giving you the impression that it might have been "attacking" you. Nim dosen't know who you are, and has no reason to attack you all. He's just a lonely robot who made another robot to keep him company - but that robot went waywire and escaped. It's probably up to no good, as we saw in the previous chapter by trying to blow up that gnome.
With the tracker, you should be able to find his brother in no time.
Finally, don't forget to PM me any role-playing or rolls regarding your faction quests. <3
Danitriel slipped off to pursue her own quest, no to mention something that caught her eye -an invisibility spell would be quite helpful in helping the party.
As you all return back to Trollskull Manor, FC is awaiting you all, dressed in his action gear and smoking a cigar. (This is my way of meeting back up with you guys haha)

Also since no-one actually claimed the item that finds the thing, I'll take it since I'll do my faction quest later. I only have a few small things to do IC before I pursue this little machine!
Azrael wouldn't leave with the others, he was charmed by the dragonborn woman, to a degree, atleast. He stayed there with her as the others went thier own ways. Taking the Detector in his possession, fully intending to get on this soon. But first, he had a mission of another sort. He would look at the dragonborn before him, clear admiration though not at the wonders around him. He would take her hand in his own, unless she pulled away, and place his other on top of it before saying We are a rare breed in this world. Since this realm is not our original home hmm? I would be quite honored if you would join me for dinner sometime in the near future, when your duties allow. Perhaps we can get to know one another better, and see where things go from there. What say you?
After whatever would happen there, Azrael would be moderately confused by Lythrils words versus her actions.. one moment she was gung-ho to find the bird, the next she was too busy.... he would shake his head, looking over the item in question. Somehow, Azrael felt stronger, his own innate power growing.... and on the foot of the temple of Gond, he knelt. Praying to Bahamut. Bahamut expanding his mind, showing him spells he had never known before. He would mark them all to memory as Bahamuts blessing washed over him. He continued kneeling in reverence, thanking Bahamut for his providence. Religious intensity: 13
He sighed, feeling Bahamut wash over him. He rested there on reverence for the duration of a short rest, allotting spells he felt would be better suited than his previous ones, including a Control Flame spell... after the most recent events.
Once he was satisfied, he would rise. For several moments he considered going after the thing himself, alone. If it were not for the gang activity, he would. (honestly He would if not for that!)
He considered going back.. and decided it would be best to gather atleast one ally.. probably Leon for this venture. And with that, he headed first, for his temple. No one seemed to be willing to answer him, despite repeatedly asking. So he would take their silence as a yes. Once there, he would meet with the two others of his faith, Zach, a Human in his early thirties, who had helped found the temple, and was the first of their order to set up in this city. He was white, with blonde hair, and hazel eyes. Standing at an average six feet, two inches. The other, Tali, was a Teifling. Her eyes were pure white, and she stood roughly five-five. She preferred to wear heavy purple attire. Her hair was a sleek black, and naturally wavy.
My dear friends. I am sorry for my disappearance so suddenly, but Bahamut has shown me my path after these long three years. I have come into some... providence. I have found a home in a large manor. It is shared with many others, whom most, I would call friends, though there is atleast one you should be wary of, and keep an eye on.... Another Teifling, I'm afraid, Tali. I have not yet divined his true nature, so do not do anything rash, but keep an eye on him for me, when I cannot. Either way, I have asked them if they would be bothered by you joining us, and none have answered. So I take their silence as acquiescence. We shall move our temple into the basement of this place, as I have already carved it out as my personal space in the manor. It is by far the largest single room aside form the first floor, so it will have enough space for you both to rest, and we can set our shrine up in the large central area. I'm afraid I cannot help you with the moving, but here, take this...

he says, handing them 15 GP to purchase a Cart. With that, you should be able to move your bedding, and our holy statue of the great Bahamut to our new home and temple. I must assist my new allies in their endeavors if we are ever to expand our religion, I must follow this path Bahamut has set before me. I look forward to seeing you there. Also, let us sell this place. It has served it's purpose. Telling them then where the Manor was located.
Crispy, you can decide how long it will take them to get their two beds, and the 8ft statue of Bahamut to the home and basement. As well as how much we can get for the selling of this hovel-property, I'll let you decide all those, even if we only get 1 gold from it XD. Regardless, once the Acolytes get there, they will be able to provide this to the manor:
Acolyte
Feature: Shelter of the Faithful
As an acolyte, you command the respect of those who share your faith, and you can perform the religious ceremonies of your deity. You and your adventuring companions can expect to receive free healing and care at a temple, shrine, or other established presence of your faith, though you must provide any material components needed for spells. Those who share your religion will support you (but only you) at a modest lifestyle.
You might also have ties to a specific temple dedicated to your chosen deity or pantheon, and you have a residence there. This could be the temple where you used to serve, if you remain on good terms with it, or a temple where you have found a new home. While near your temple, you can call upon the priests for assistance, provided the assistance you ask for is not hazardous and you remain in good standing with your temple.
Once that was done, he would head back to Trollskull Manor, and seek out allies to aid him in finding this 'nimblewright' only to have FC call him and the others to the common room. He would listen to FC with interest, but would ultimately interject.
I can see why this would be an important lead. But hear me out, please. I highly doubt the stone will go anywhere, and if it is truly in the possession of a friend of yours, I am sure you can stall him somehow to keep the stone where it is otherwise. However, I feel this Nimblewright situation demands our more immediate attention. Just this morning you saw what it was willing to do. It blew up a building close to us, but that building could have been us. We have no idea where it got it's little amulet, or even if it needed it to cast the spell in the first place. It is apparently attacking at random, for some unknown reason, and could do what it did this morning again, to us if allowed to be let free. Let alone what it could do to others. Do you not agree?
I legit don't remember who is in what faction. So I don't remember who I'd be helping or doing it with XD I'll copy it to my notes if you'll post it Crisp.

I guess I wasn't clear. Lyhtril was excited to come to grips with a foe or target she could understand. Being "attacked" justified in her head that somebody needed a pounding. Crashing into the temple and confronted with a calm priest, took her a little aback. She was expecting a fight. To then discover that the attack was an accident, really let the air out of her sails.
Lythril doesn't deal well with confusing situations. She has no problem with things that are obvious and right in front of her, or with things she feels are a threat to her friends. Hence her need to meditate and seek tranquility in an environment she understands (the park).

Leon felt genuinely bad for Nim, poor thing getting punishment for something that wasn’t directly it’s fault (they just wanted a friend). He understood its loneliness, however he kept to himself, unlike Pheral who confessed. The half elf found a tiny bit of comfort in knowing someone else within the group could relate (well, he didn’t know if anyone else dealt with loneliness in the team aside from her, but he didn’t wish to pry). Though, if they dealt with the same voices as he, then he would inquire.
He retreated to his room to meditate, needing to strengthen his mind once again before embarking on another mission. The last thing he wanted was for his demons to get in the way. Just as he finished up he was summoned into the common room by FC. It took him a minute, but he headed down to meet up with everyone else.
Pale lips stayed shut to listen to why everyone else had to say, only to interject when he felt it was right.
“Unless it’s goal was to hit the manor...” Leon said absentmindedly, shaking his head at the thought, he came forward. ”I apologize, Fatcat, but Azrael has a point. Gods know what this thing is truly capable of and we need to rid of it before more innocent lives are in danger. I do not wish to split up the party, but if it is necessary, I will follow behind Azrael.”
Leon paused. ”Or maybe it is being controlled by the Zhents...”

FACTIONS: Pheral, Astrid, and Dani are Harpers. Leon, Azrael, and Lythril are in the Order of the Gauntlet. FC is not in a faction.
RECAP: Xanathar and Zhent gang activity has been on the rise. Xanathar thinks the Zhents stole his Stone of Galor. The Zhents did not, but they still want it. FC hired you guys to save his friend from Zhent kidnappers - it was a case of mistaken identity. For your actions, you were given a manor, and an undead servant. Through FC's connections, FC knows that the Zhents found out a gnome actually stole the Stone from Xanathar, and were hot on his trail but were all killed in a fireball explosion caused by a third party: a rogue Nimblewright. One Zhent lived: Urstul Floxin. Injured, he took the stone and retreated back to , and headed to Gralhund Villa. Heading to the Temple of Gond, you learn that there are actually two Nimblewrights. One innocent, and one misguided. You are now at a crossroads.
RIGHT NOW: Valetta handed Pheral the Nimblewright detector. Unless otherwise said, it's in her possession. You can follow FC's lead and visit Gralhund Villa, or track down the rogue Nimblewright.

As a hint, Renaer Neverember may know something about all of this as well, and those of you who are Harpers can draw upon your renown to get information as well. You guys are doing a great job, but always remember you can ask for help should you need it or feel lost.
Just a heads up, Azrael fully intends to ask for the INNOCENT nimblewright to join them at the manor, for various reasons. INCLUDING to ease his loneliness be becoming OUR friends!
Azrael would clear his throat then, saying It seems we have a splitting up. As we have already completed FatCats request, I feel no obligation to seek after the stone, though I do honestly wish to help for various reasons. But As I have already stated, I feel this rogue Nimblewright is a higher immediate priority, to both our safety, and the safety of others. If possible then, FatCat.. tell us where we can meet you should we finish our task swiftly, assuming I am not going this alone, of course.
FC nods slowly and deliberately. "You gotta good point! I was not present when you went and saw the automaton, I fort that was all done and dusted, didnt I? Let's go find this bag of bolts, eh?"

((Who's comin with me to deal with the nimble?))
Occassional Dungeon Master.
Astrid climbs up Azrael's robes until she's sitting on his shoulders again. "Count me in, Mr. Az! Reporting for duty!"
Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?
FC nods slowly and deliberately. "You gotta good point! I was not present when you went and saw the automaton, I fort that was all done and dusted, didnt I? Let's go find this bag of bolts, eh?"
"CoS" Rumble- Tabaxi Shadow Monk
OK, that's three votes for Nimblewright. I'll wait to see what the others say. =P
