As Fenchurch felt his employer bodily place him in front of the assemblage of people towards whom Boulder had apparently been running, he saw two humans speaking to each other awkwardly, an elf seemingly about to burst from her skin from sheer energy (perhaps the one who had outshone Vipna at the bar?), an orc whose eyes held a disconcerting level of purpose, and the lady with the flying hair. More importantly, Mar'vell's speech made clear that he also did not know where Mollymauk had gone. Something had happened, something bad. Still, Fenchurch could not disappoint his employer, not so soon after joining the carnival. Intentionally avoiding the living-locked lady's eyes, he turned on his biggest smile.
"That's right, Fenchurch the Farseer's the name. Here to help you see beyond the veil. Now, I don't have my materials on me right now, but if you'd care to join me in my tent, I'm sure we can work something else. Even cut off half the price for the trouble you've been through."
"Well as I mentioned before Mollymauk isn't here at the moment and I'm unsure of when he'll be back. Fenchurch is his apprentice, perhaps he may be able to shed some light on it. If not then you're more then welcome to try and find us again in the morning. I'm sure Molly will be back by then."
Tangle starts to head into the tent after Fenchurch, and notices Jinn pulling Mar’veill aside. She stops to eavesdrop, but very obviously, stepping right up to listen, and looking back and forth between them.
To Mar’veill she says, ”If the mollymauk left Dr. Jinn with an incomplete telling, perhaps his apprentice will complete it... for no more gold? It seems in keeping with the reputation of your Marvels...”

Marr'veil chuckles at the elf. "Well fees are usually discussed between the diviner and the observer. If Jinn here just wants to talk then it probably won't cost her anything. But if you all want brand new readings of your own then Fen has a right to charge for his service. We are still a business, bright eyes, and we have hungry bellies to feed." He pauses for a second and he face grows serious.
"Earlier you mentioned me seeking a blue cart. Who told you that young lady? Have you seen it around?"
Fenchurch went into his tent, with the strange retinue of people behind him. Fortunately, his "Farseer's table" had not but put out yet, although without his cloak the performance would not be complete. That, and the minor issue that he was going to attempt to read multiple fortunes at once, the lady with flying hair who had started the hubbub wasn't joining him, and the slight problem that he was not, in fact, a diviner. Still, Mollymauk always said that people wanted a real show more than a real fortune, so that was what Fenchurch was going to do. He put his Crystal Ball out of his table, and turned to face people.
Wolf Pup will take a seat first, shifting uncomfortably on a chair much too small for him, “I desire to know where my prey has fled. Is this something that you can show me?”

Tangle is still outside Fenchurch's tent with Marr'veil and Dr. Jinn.
Tangle to Marr'veil, "I have not seen it, no. Your rock Boulder described it to us. You are more concerned than he was over... he called it a bunch of old rags and junk. If it were found what would you have done about it?"
"Well I'd thank the finder of course. The cart and its contents have a lot of value to me and I'd like to see them returned. The truth is the cart had a few items hidden in it for a new act that are a little more on the pricey side and a much harder to find. They could be quite dangerous if someone untrained got their hands on them." He leans in to whisper to Tangle.
"Don't let Boulder hear you call him that, it's quite rude. He's put up with people taunting him all his life because of his appearance; now he just takes the shorter route and smashes them when they insult him."
“Oh!” Tangle starts. “Where I am from the creatures are what they are, and none are what they seem. There is no offense meant. But I will take your advice. It is not as boring here as I was told.”
”Boulder said you’d last seen this cart at your last camp before arriving here? How long ago? Where? And if we find a cart, where might the secretive cargo be, that the cart might be verified as the true one?”

Perry stands outside the tent to listen in on Tangle's and Mar'veil's conversation. He looks between the two as they talk. Recovering a wagon that was lost or stolen outside of town is exactly what a Windwalker of The Helping Hand is supposed to do. If people don't feel their belongings are safe as they travel, they won't travel, and that's bad for everyone, particularly his patron's interests.
"Ehem..." Perry clears his throat hesitantly to ask, "Do ya think i' has anythin' ta do with them smugglers the guards are lookin' for?"

“Well the cart is easy to identify. A big thing covered with a blue tarp that has our logo engraved in it. Last camp we had outside of town was about three days ago and we slept on the other side of the woods. The equipment was hidden beneath the old clothing. Now the smugglers,” Marr’veil turns to Perry.
” From what I know about the smuggling problem, a group has been making money by inporting magical contraband; weapons, armor, poisons. Bringing in more of that higher tier, hard to get stuff and selling it under the table. Can’t imagine why they want our equipment though. Lot of what was in their has to do with pyrotechnics. Dangerous items to fool around with if you don’t know what your doing.”
Tangle perks up (even more, yes!) at the mention of pyrotechnics, watching Perry curiously. "Have you a trusted crew on the fireworks tonight?" she asks Marr'veil. "I would see to them and their safety, just in case. Perry and I, it is seeming, might be interested in seeing to the recovery of this wagon. How would we find you after you leave on the morrow were we to come across it?"

"Oh no, the pyrotechnics are not for fireworks but for our fire dancer's new act. The fireworks are actually run by the town itself, if you hadn't noticed they are in the middle of a festival. We simply arrived at the same time they started their celebration, The Days of the Verlichte Nacht. At the end of the day its traditional to release the lanterns out to the water. This town is apparently so into this holiday that they pull out all the stops and threw in a fireworks show at the end of the last day." Marr'veil gestures over to the town.
"If you do happen to find it, well, hmm. Our next stop is the town of Woodhaerst, which is almost a weeks travel from here. So if you do happen to find it then your best bet would be to try to you could catch us along the main roads."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Perry figets, shifting his weight from foot to foot. When Mar'veill finishes talking, he holds his right arm out in front of him with his elbow bent. Zephyr appears out of thin air and stands on the back of his hand. The little burrowing owl looks even smaller when being held by the big man. Perry breathes softly in a strange way and looks all around as if he is searching for something.
Perry says in Auran, "We have work to do this night. I fear a dire plot."
Perry sends the bird skyward. He closes his eyes. When he opens them a moment later, his pupils are so large and round that he appears to have no iris. The scleras are no longer white, but yellow.
Zephyr's perception: 17. Perry is looking through his familiars eyes for anything suspicious. He thinks he will find terrorists carrying barrels of explosive across the roof tops or something.
The bird makes a large circle overhead. She returns to Perry as his eyes turn back to their normal human brown. He turns to walk away.
"Wha- well... So much for that party. Thank you sir for the payment. Olivia will be pleased."
Turning to her new friends, "Party's over.... Anyone know the best place to watch the fireworks?"

Jinns's eyes flipped to the gnome.
"You again?"
She looked back up to Mar' Veil.
"I'd rather not have my fortune by someone who intrudes on my personal business with your Tiefling."

She pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Thank you, I will be back in the morning."
a sigh escaped from her lips.
"I have a feeling he will find me to finish what he started."
She walked towards the woods, refusing to go back to the town.
Mainly fear that someone may hurt the sweet Innkeeper or someone else during the chase to get her.
Time for a good camp fire and quiet.
