"Lets see, the food plus the room will run you about..." You watch her as she calculates the price in her head.
"Well, that will run you about four silver pieces. Did you want anything to drink, hon?" She asks as she rolls up her sleeves and begins gathering what you asked for.
“There are many people here. How do they all remember each other? It seems like it would be very difficult to meet with so many people. Is this not right?” Wolf Pup whispers down to Perry as they’re walking.
Perry shakes his head in amazment. He's never seen so many people at once. "Where we goin'? Let's try 'n' find a map."

Wolf Pup:(Assuming you did this before you past the gates.)
Passing by the tables set up along the streets, all you see is some trinkets, knick-knacks, and paper lanterns. You get the feeling if you want a map you might have to go find the General Store someone had mentioned to you earlier. Something does catch your attention, though. Out of the corner of you eye you see a small figure hidden by a cloak dart through the crowd and into a nearby alleyway.
Tangle: The best you can make out, Bug crunch seems to be really good at mimicking other people.
Jinn:
From where you are sitting Jinn, you watch as a purple tielfing enters the bar, he scans the room and heads over to the bar to speak to Olivia. She laughs at whatever he says to her and nods before disappearing into a back room. The tielfling then takes a seat at another table and begins laying out cards.

"One gold lantern, coming up. I'll see you at the Tavern."
Fenchurch left Molly and made his way down main street. He still hadn't quite figured out how he and Vipna got on. Mollymauk was so fun and social, and Vipna was...well Vipna was the best acrobat Fenchurch had ever seen, but she barely spoke twenty words a day. But somehow Molly made it work, somehow Molly made everything work. Fenchurch was certain that by the time that he made it to the tavern, his tiefling friend would have the whole place eating out of his hand. A quarter mile down the way, he found a small cart selling the special, small, and to Fenchurch's eyes quite pretty Verlichte Nacht lanterns. He bought a gold one for Molly and Vipna, and a copper one for himself. It cost almost everything he'd made this afternoon, but the rest of the festival had been quite nice, and fully embracing the city seemed only fair. He tore a small corner of the paper from a blank sheet in the strips and scraps that made up his spell book, and placed it in the oil and wick of his lantern; he would truly leave a little of himself in this town. He then made his way to the Mermaid's Tears, hoping to catch a bit of Molly's show before it ended. After all, there was always something Fenchurch the Farseer could learn.
Wolf Pup’s eyes focus as he begins to walk toward the alley. He wordlessly motions for Perry to follow him. It may be nothing, but if there’s the slightest chance that the figure was the Oni, then he can’t afford to pass up such an opportunity. Maps can wait!

Tangle ushers Bug towards the fire, and the yummy smells. Without waiting for an invitation, and leaving Bug if he gets nervous or shy, Tangle comes up, circles the fire, then leans in to smell the food. finally settling on the large rock with a contented sigh. She looks at the person stirring the pot, and smiles. "The scents in this land fill me up! Have you smelled the rocks?" She pats the one she's sitting on. "So crude, but so full!"
Tangle and Bug crunch:(Since Bug hasn't posted then I shall possess him for a moment):
The kenku is padding behind the elf.
"Wrrrr...Smelled the rocks. Fill me up!" He mimics back in Tangle's voice. He nods affirmatively, his eyes on the pot.
The person sitting at the fire is a halfling woman, wearing a skin tight suit with some very detailed scaled designs to it. Her face has these patches of copper scales and her eyes are orange and the pupils are a slit, making her look almost snake-like. Not bothered by the sudden interruption she continues to stir the contents of the pot in front of her. Her eyes flick back and forth between the two of you, not looking concerned, more unimpressed with the two who had just barged . A moment passes, before she sighs and sets the ladle off to the side and in turn picks up a fire poker. She gives the rock a swat with it. "Boulder, Boulder wake up. Someone's sitting on you again." She says giving it a few more swats. As you sits and begin to question what she's doing, Tangle feels the rock beneath her shift and turn. A large stone arm reaches up and swats her off, before the rock unfurls and what is before you is a large, large being. An extremely muscular man who looks like he's entirely made of stone. He lets out a grunt and snatches the poker from the woman and throws off in some random direction. He turns to the halfling.
"What?" His voice is bizarre, it's as if you are hearing a miniature landslide happening as he speaks.
"People are here."
"What do they want?" The halfling shrugs, she points over to Tangle. Boulder followers he finger to the tiny elf and the bird.
"Where they'd come from?" She shrugs again.
"Did Mar'veil hire them?" She shrugs once again and makes a dismissive noise.
"Do you know anything Vipna?" She fishes out a large piece of meat from the stew and begins slowly chewing on it. She swallows and shrugs again. Boulder lets out a frustrated growl, before turning to Tangle.
"You! Who are you and why are you here? Are you new hires? Or did you come to see a show?"
Wolf Pup and Perry:
You locate the general store with relative ease, following the direction of the large purple tower. It leads you to a couple of stores, only two are open right now. One is the large tower that you can now see is shaped like a large, purple conch shell. A sign with arcane runes burned into it informs the reader that this building is "The Magic Conch, official associate of the Magic Circle." The second is a large two story warehouse that looks to have been converted into a store. A makeshift sign alerts you that this is "General Goode's General Goods." Stepping into the store, you see an human man sitting by the front counter reading a book. As you enter he looks up and takes off his glasses.
"Welcome, what uh, what brings you two here today?"
OOC: This a typical general store where you can find most of the items from the adventuring gear and tool sets/kits in the Player's Handbook. A local map will cost you 5 cp and a map of the continent will cost you Link for those who need it.

Jinn:
The purple tiefling, looks up from his cards and, noticing you, gives you a wide, fang filled smiled. He gets up, collecting his cards and makes his way over to you.
"Well, hello there. Are you quite a peculiar sight, and aren't I quite the peculiar sight as well. What do you say two peculiar people get to know each other over a drink. Hello, once more. My name is Mollymauk. Mollymauk Tealeaf. I am Diviner of Mystical Arts, and soothsayer for the wondrous troupe over at Mar'veil's Marvelous Marvels, the Finest Show in All of Terria.
