Could there be a rule against using AI writing? I would prefer people write their own posts instead of having an AI do it for them.
Also do you have a DNDBeyond campaign we should put our characters on?
Name: Geren Norz
Species: Human
Class: Rogue
Faction: Fated
Background: Pact Seeker
Personality: A pleasure-seeker, Geren loves eating, drinking, music, books, and whatever other enjoyments life has to offer. While he's willing to pay a fair price for what he wants he'd prefer not to pay a copper piece more than he has to so he can better afford whatever else he wants to buy. Or just take it. He's friendly, cheerful, and ruthless, quick to seize opportunities and quicker to seize property. He takes pride in his good looks, often admiring himself in reflective surfaces. A quick way to get on Geren's good side is to compliment his appearance, he's even willing to pose for someone who seems appreciative.
Backstory: Growing up the son of a pair of Fraternity of Order members Geren had no desire to be a another manual laborer, didn't have the patience to work behind a desk, and was too ambitious to settle for those anyway. He would take any chance to improve his situation, so when a ritual he attempted resulted in a mysterious voice (the Patron from his Pact Seeker Background) offering him power he took it. Having joined the Fated Geren looks forward to seeing what else he can take, having embraced their philosophy with gusto.

Here is a D&D Beyond Campaign: https://www.dndbeyond.com/campaigns/join/78350312950932298 Not sure how much I'll use it, I've never made one on this site before... let me know what would be helpful for you for me to add there. I'll certainly add a rule against AI use, I too came here to play with people not machines.
And Geren is approved! That's a great Fated that totally matches the faction philosophy. Any specifics I should know about your Patron, or would you like me to figure out the details? 😈
Okay truly if you feel you won't have fun then yes BUT I urge you to consider: Only two of your scores are negative modifiers, and only slightly (a -1 to your rolls isn't awful, and can be offset with proficiencies) Also, you are mostly gonna be using that 17!! Which is a great score. Remember you'll be working in a team, and will be able to cover each other's weak points -- you don't need to be good at everything! D&D is about specialization. Also, this campaign will be more about roleplaying and problem solving than needing to roll big numbers on a dice. I think you'll be fine :)
Description: Raskival maintains the form of an elf of medium build with long white hair and purple eyes. He wears a red cape over a short red coat and red trousers. Upon his head he wears a red, wide brimmed hat sporting a long white feather. On his hands and feet are black leather gloves and boots. His outfit is finished with a white cravat around his neck.
Personality: Raskival has been accused of being a womanizer, but in reality he is an everyone-and-everything-izer. He is often found "partaking in life's enjoyments." Which is his name for what everyone else calls "over-indulging in vice."
Backstory: Raskival was a human man training with his mentor in the Cormanthor forest, when he was suddenly swept up in a blinding light. When he awoke, he found himself in a strange land that he would soon come to find out was the Feywild. Before he had a chance to get his bearings, he was captured by two Archfey. They had brought him into the Feywild on a whim, so that he could be used as their plaything. For an entire year they forced him to do all manner of things for their amusement until they played their final game--switching his body with that of a changeling.
After growing bored of Raskival, the Archfey sent him back to Toril in his changeling body. He spent years searching far and wide for a way to the Feywild in hopes that he could somehow get his own body back. During that time, he learned to use his changeling abilities, but decided to keep the elven form that the Archfey forced him to change into as motivation to undo what was done to him.
He was starting to become accustomed to his changeling body when he heard a rumor of a portal to the Feywild. It was the closest he had come in years to getting back, so he wasted no time in investigating it. When he arrived at the rumored location, he indeed found a portal, and without a second thought, he stepped through it.
As the portal closed behind him, Raskival once again found himself in a strange land. But this time it was not the Feywild.
Species: Arisen (Think Frankenstein's monster from Grimhollow)
Class: Monster Hunter (devourer eventually, also Grimhollow)
Faction: Dustmen
Background: Ruined
Personality: Focused, Studious and sometimes aloof, Bits is fascinated with Undead, constructs, and beasts, and this appears to overwhelm him at times. Sometimes he may be seen talking to himself. He reads what he can find, and cooks.
Backstory: Bits was created by a great Mage, put together from various bits (hence the name). He will appear as a hodge podge of body parts with scars where two parts are assembled. One arm is green. One is pale white. He stands at 6'-10" and appears lean and gangly, as well as slightly hunched. Parts of armor are woven into his body, and some bolts and wire appear to be part of his construct. His teeth are Brass bits assembled into his mouth, giving him a shocking and creepy smile. His master one day disappeared, leaving him abandoned in Sigil. He was found by members of the Dustmen over a cooking fire in graveyard, where he appeared to be eating bits of an undead zombie he had captured and restrained. He instantly found a place with the Dustmen, and shared some of their fascination with the undead. He has a focus on the dead parts and can be seen grabbing parts off of any enemies. Often, he is splattered with dried blood or other bits he didn't clean off. He doesn't' carry any obvious weapons but will use his cooking tools to great effect in a fight (Meat Cleaver = Handaxe, Tenderizer = Small Hammer, Butcher's knife = Dagger).
I'll play a character that doesn't know anything, like me! lol
Now it's time to put my fate in the hands of the dice:
Ability scores: 14 17 12 11 7 8
Omg... a 7 and an 8. I guess I'm going to be the weak link.
Makes sense for someone who knows nothing I guess? lol
Hello, I'm interested! Are you still accepting players?
"I cast Fireball."
"Are you sure you want to do that?"
"I cast Fireball."
"It's a 15 by 15 room."
"I said I cast Fireball."

I don't suppose I could reroll that 7?
Until I have 6 approved characters you are welcome to submit one!

If it's alright I'd like to figure out Geren's Patron with you to ensure it fits both our ideas.
And thank you for the anti-AI rule.
Okay, I'll keep it. I was just bummed that I rolled low compared to the other players lol.
