As the Starbeast went to attack him, Valen quickly made a sigil in the air, casting Shield to defend himself. He watched as the plasma left by the creature slid slowly off his arcane barrier, melting through the ground. Gross, he thought. As he drew back his blade to plunge it into the Starbeast once more, John's Scorching Ray struck the beast, killing it. "Not again," Valen muttered as he stepped over the corpse of the first Starbeast, redying himself to attack the second. Casting Booming Blade once more, he struck the second Starbeast, far more successfully than he had before. Another net of arcane energy was set to detonate.
[OCC: Reaction: Shield. Action: Attack, with Booming Blade/Rapier. 22 to hit. 7 Damage. Target: SB2]
Chance felt rather wounded after the creature touched him, placing his focus to the Starbeast which is now attacking him and starts wiping of the glowing residue which hit him.
(OOC receives a further 5 radiant damage)
With the death of the first Starbeast, Chance swiftly transfers it to the Starbeast which harmed him, again the Hex is on Wisdom.
(I can't see a clear path out of this situation, I need its focus to change then at least I can use its distraction to sneak attack it)
With one enemy down Gideon set his sights to the next foe. Even feeling weak from the most recent attack Gideon took up his sword cut the monster vertically from the right shoulder down. Then following through on the turn he kicked out a foot catching the beasts mid section. At the same time he switched the sword into his left hand and thrust his right fist forward hitting the beast in the same place that his foot had landed.
The Starbeast roars, and reaches out to Gideon and Dastrun. It's appendage falls short of Dastrun, but it manages to land a blow against Gideon, dealing 9 damage. Suddenly the ground collapses below the third starbeast, sending it it the floor below. You can hear kobolds screaming as they are crushed by the beast. Chance must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 12) or fall down with it.

There was a possibility of falling down with the Starbeast, out of the fat into the fire. But Chance prefers to leap out of the way, landing closer to John.
It was a close call, but he was successful.
Thanking Fate, he points at the fallen Starbeast which bears his Hex and pronounces its doom.
Soolaire rushed towards SB2 with ferocity, zeroing in on his prey. He leapt high into the air, barreling down on the demon like a dragon swooping down on its foe. Bringing down of his sunfangs together, the flare intensified as his sunfangs took the shape of a dragon's maw, striking deep into the heart of the fiend in a flash of psionic power. He laughs, reveling in the power at his disposal.. "I told your deceased ally: you cannot stand against the might of the Father-Dragon!"
OOC: 24 and 27 (Super-critical) to hit, dealing 7 and 26 psychic damage each. Soolaire moved two squares south of his current position.
Seeing that one of the creatures is down and the other appears to have dealt tremendous damage to the one still on our level, John moves 15 feet (5 ft SW, 10 ft S) as to get a clear shot at the living creature.
His aim proves to be precise, hitting the creature dead on its body. Crossbow shot: 1d20+5=18; 1d8+3=7 piercing damage. (14 bolts left).
Friends, the Lord of Light shines upon us! Lets be done with this beasts quick!

Eyeing the Starbeast as Soolaire attacked it, he stepped over Gideon's unconcious body. "John, do you mind taking care of Gideon? I need to have some words with our friend here."
[OOC: Action: Wiping the sludge off Gideon. Movement: 5 ft. West, 5 ft. South.]

Seeing only one option, Soolaire smirks, winking at the starbeast before vanishing and reappearing instantaneously above the starbeast. Having seen the effectiveness of his last Barreling Dragon Strike, he cries out as his sunfangs meld together, taking on the appearance of a flaming dragon's maw, as Soolaire crashes into the starbeast. His attack overwhelms the creatures molecules and structure, causing it to dissipate, leaving a pool of its essence splattered against the rock. "Now! Take this opportunity to get them up." He sprints towards the cave-in the final starbeast is in the process of climbing out of. Father-Dragon, these fiends are no match for your instinct you have bestowed upon me.
OOC: Spent 2 power points and a reaction to use Defensive Step, buffing his AC by +4 and teleporting. Two attacks, hitting at a 25 and a 23, dealing 12 and 13 psychic damage each. That should kill SB2, putting it at 109 damage taken. Soolaire moves thirty feet, putting him on the square just south of John's current position. If SB2 didn't die, then Soolaire doesn't move.
Seeing the beast fall, but the other trying to climb up, John moves toward Gideon drawing a vial of red liquid, when he reaches Gideon he lays his hand on his chest and say a prayer to the Lord of Light: Lord of Light, use me to send your energy and fire to this man! This is not his time yet!
As soon as Gideon opens his eyes John says to him: Go to Dastrun and whipe him off, I am right behind you!
Holding the vial he yells: Someone makes sure Dastrun drink this after he is clean!
Chance, felt that it was moot to move closer to Starbeast 2, so makes a 20 foot move, so he is near Dastrun and Gideon. He saw one possibility to help force the Starbeasts doom, but could see that Dastrun was needing help. So chose to help.

Chance grabs the potion of healing, opens it and places it in Dastruns mouth.

Seeing that his allies were being revived, Valen turned his attention to the third and final Starbeast that was clinging onto the edge of the crumbled floor. "Coming through!" He lept over his companions, blade drawn as he charged towards the beast. "And a one, and a two, and a one, two, three, STRIKE!" Valen grinned as his rapier plunged into the Starbeast's hand-like appendage. It won't do much damage, but... His smile widened as once more, the net of Arcane energy descended upon the monster. Realizing his elation, Valen stiffened, temporarily shutting down his adreneline high. "Can't afford to make mistakes now," he muttered to himself.
[OOC: Movement: 35 feet East. Booming Blade cast at SB3. 5 piercing damage with the rapier, with a 15 to hit.]
Dastrun, heels something wash down his throat, and his strength come back. He quickly drink whatever it is to try and restore as much strength as he can. His vision returns to him, and he takes in his surroundings. he notices another star thing climbing out of a hole. He lets loose a string of curses that would have made his grandmother throw him in the ocean. He shakily gets up and prepares to throw a javelin at it when it climbs out.
Gideon was up and seeing that Dastrun still need to be cleaned, did so before Chance came over with the potion. Afterwards Gideon was up on his feet holding his sword out while still breathing heavily from being at deaths door.
As soon as the second Starbeast falls, you hear the sound of chains snapping, as if a seal has been broken. Suddenly, the third Starbeast starts moving faster than before. It pulls itself out of the hole, using Valen as an anchor [Make a Dexterity saving throw or be thrown down the hole DC 15]. Dastrun may use his reaction to perform his readied action.

Following through Gideon let the sword go into his left hand, and with his right fist he quickly jabbed the beast twice! Each blow more devastating then the last!
Dastrun readies his javelin, and lets it fly when he can see it pop up. It loges in its shoulder. (6 damage). He then pulls out his last javelin and throws it. It catches it in the gut. (7 damage)
Dashing towards SB3, he watches as the demon climbs out of its hellish hole. Enraged, he leaps into the air, crashing down on the surprised plasma-fiend with his famous (to him at least) Twin Fanged Dragon Strike, a psionic attack where his sunfangs change form into two dragons, which begin to spiral rapidly as he twists his body. Slamming into the creature, he ends up landing on the far side of it, preventing any means of escape. "Hark the bell, it tolls for thee!"
