As the sounds get louder Alvaryn says back to Othokent ”You hear that Mr Othokent, sounds like something awful fun is looking for us! If we are keen to avoid it mayhaps we should hurry along faster lest we be denied the choice.” With this he moves back to Wrex and assists him in carrying Lux to speed their departure.

"There it is again. I do not know what you mean by this 'Fun', but Othokent learn later. Hasten step, soft-skin one."Othokent darts ahead a short way, but stays at the very least in the edge of the light to turn back and goad the duo forward with a wave. The egg bearer would be disappointed if he let them fall. But his hands were already occupied, and Othokent was too Othokent to lose his 'prey' or Pain-Bringer.

As the hole widens, Mikkeo glances toward the steps and outside. "Is this the wisest course of action?" he asks Torgar and Mazir. "Venturing through an unknown hole?"
"I for one would like to find out where this creature came from" and more importantly why she was here, if that sewer opening held any answers to why she was here then she needed to know.
"No..." Torgar sighed, "It would not be wise." Placing the sledgehammer against a crate and taking a brief moment to catch his breath as he looked between Mikkeo and Mazir"But we were all foolish enough to come into an unknown cellar in the first place without much to go on."
A nod would be given to Mazir as the tiefling seemed willing enough to continue forward before he'd turn and walk into the hole, stopping just a few feet within "I'll lead the way. We survived because we stayed together. Because we worked together. I'd hate to think what would have happened if it was someone else that had happened upon the cellar. Alone without any help. " The dragonborn would then continue on through the hole.
Mikkeo scowls as Torgar enters the hole, but draws his sword and whistles, the blade glowing and the crate which had previously been providing light dimming. He holds out a hand toward the makeshift doorway. "After you," he says grudgingly to Mazir.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mazir drops into the hole with ease not giving the Bard a second glance. The stench hit her first as her eyes again adjusted to the differing levels of light, her nightvision filling in the rest. The Tiefling looks around spear in hand. "Which way?" she asks the dragonborn, turning back she gestures Mikkeo to follow.
Just waiting on Wrex at this point. But I assume there might be another chance for an athletic checks to catch-up? Or should I be looking into considering alternatives?

Othokent: Give me another athletics check, Alvaryn and Wrex are are keeping a decent pace but you are slowly being sucked into the darkness.
Mazir: As your dark vision evens out, The darkness in these damp tunnels carry a sinister air about them. It may be just a trick of the mind, but movement flits across your peripherals from time to time, but every time you try to focus on them there is nothing but the eroded stone. As Mikkeo steps through the whole, his light seems to ward off whatever lurks below.
Group 1: The tunnel stretches off to your right and left.

Torgar continued forward at a slow pace, allowing the light from behind to lead the way. Upon reaching a fork however, he'd look at the darkness to the left and then the darkness to the right. The smell was overwhelming either way and while he'd hope to hear something or catch a glint of light in the distance from one direction or the other, the dragonborn could once again only trust his gut. "Left or right? If no objection... We'll go right." Returning to his pace
"Right it is" Mazirs eyes flick from left to right, the darkness seemed to claw at the edge of her vision carrying a sinister weight to it, as Mikkeo entered the tunnel the light he carried seemed to dissolve the immediate darkness about the trio. "Please keep that light close, the darkness here clings to the corners of my vision, it is not natural" She looked at the bard his eyes sparkling here like two grains of gold against the nights sky. Uncomfortable now an unconscious hand goes to the stump of her horns conscious of highlighting her mutilation to the others Mazir stops, turning to the dragonborn she lays a hand on the back of his shoulder "Keep your guard friend something sinister lingers here"

Mikkeo notices Mazir as she fingers the stumps of her horns and his brow furrows in concern. He says nothing of it ... now. He follows behind as closely as is comfortable, keeping his eyes open for anything.
Group 1: The tunnel stretches on into the darkness, not sound disturbs those damp passageways save for your own footsteps. That is, until the silence is broken by a snarl, the sound of gnawing, and then a shriek, then more gnawing. The sounds come from some distance away, carried through the vacant space. Both fortunate and unfortunately, depending on your perspective, the path ahead is blocked by metal bars that span the tunnel. You can go no further in this direction.
Othokent: You manage to catch up just fine.
Group 2: Having not traversed too far into the sewers, it is only moments before you burst out onto the surface once more. The sky has become overcast since you descended and a chill begins to creep through the streets, but it is pushing into Autumn. The surrounding district seems empty, typical for Crestfall Quarter.

Wrex will nod and attempt to pick up the pace.
Torgar: It takes you some time to smash through, but eventually you make a large enough hole to slip through one by one.
Group 2: let me get an athletics check from all three

(The tunnels are single file correct or just the hole we made? )
