sooo, the creature would've had a surprise round but I have a house role where rolling a twenty on initiative puts you in a surprise round, so you can intercept this thing. Great roll.
The creature springs for mazir believing it has the element of surprise, but Torgar is ready for it, his instincts telling him not to trust this place. Torgar is first, followed by Mazir, then the creature, then Mikkeo
Out of the faint flicker of light from over his shoulder was Torgar able to catch sight of the creature as it appeared from behind the crates, leaping toward the tiefling, but the dragonborn was trained for combat. His reflexes sharpened on the battlefield and with a mighty swing from his greataxe does he intercept the creature.
Wrex will Point to the tracks "Look, fresh footprints!" He will quickly lower his cloth back over his eyes and start running towards the far tunnel on the right. Pumping his arms he will try to push his Heavy body as fast as he can while barreling through the sewer.
"After you big fellow." Alvaryn says as he takes off after the Tortle, shaking his head with a smile after his greeting was completely ignored but letting out another customary chuckle. This was certainly turning into quite an interesting day indeed!
***Sorry Airhorse, I totally missed that comment. This weekend I was super busy and posting only from my phone and then yesterday work was crazy***
As Wrex runs down the path he will start shaking his head "Sorry! My name is Wrex..." extending his turtle-like head up over his shell while turning it enough to see Alvaryn behind him... "and yes.... to answer your question... Lux and I have a history together. He is the reason I am here... and the reason for my pain" A look of determination and sadness wash over Wrex's face as he looks forward again, pushing even harder to catch up to his prey.
***Don't worry, I figured something of the likes. Just thought I'd rp it off to keep things moving is all :) ***
As he had suspected the Tortle, Wrex as he had named himself, was here to payback a debt not of money but of blood. As they continued along in pursuit he felt he should re-assure Wrex of his stance "The Marshalcy want's him alive if you don't already know that good Mr Wrex, for the mighty sum of 40 pieces of gold no less! But the chase is the chase no matter the outcome my friend, his fate is yours to decide once we have run him down and I will not stand in the way of your justice do not worry." Poor Mr Lux, he thought with an amused smile, did he understand what pursued him this day?
Torgar: Close but no cigar, The creature bends backward impossibly, as if without a spine, deftly dodging your blade. It breaks the creatures momentum however, leaving Mazir an opening.
Mazir is up next.
Wrex and Alvaryn: The tunnel continues straight for a time, then turns left. Unfortunately at your pace, you do not notice the number of small holes starting to appear along the sides of the walls. After some time, you come upon something heaped in the middle of the sewer tunnel.
As Wrex examines the mound Alvaryn sheath's his long sword and draws one of his hand axes, readying it for a toss just in case he needs to assist Wrex from his position slightly further back.

Mazir flinches back as a shape lunges from the dark corner, its momentum stalled as it dodges the dragonborns lightening reflex's with unnatural speed of its own. The things dodge however has given Mazir an opening, empty hand held palm open towards it she channels a force from inside towards the surface. Energy ripples through her shoulder and down her arm, in an instant it crackles from her open palm like a red lance.

Othokent did fully understand why. But for some reason, seeing the turtle man begin barreling down the tunnel caused his hands to twitch up towards his face. Recognizing that he almost mimicked the 'egg bearer's' tendacy to palm her face whenever he did poorly on a hunt, he felt another wave of understanding sweep through them.
He now felt he truly understood better how to show disapproval beyond shaking his head to the sides. Othokent was right to follow! He has learned much in the span of minutes, what would have taken him ages to learn just from watching the Egg Bearer. Thus, the Lizardfolk followed all the more eagerly after the duo, and at this point pulled out a crude charcoal writing utensil and some torn fabric to start taking notes. Included in the crude notes is Wrex and Lux's name with a heart in between them.
"That could not have possibly been a bad idea."The sarcastic sounding rasp of the Lizardfolk pipes up from five to ten feet behind the duo. "But Othokent thinks that was an interesting tactic. I am certain no Kobold would have laid a pressure trap beneath the body for unsuspecting trespassers. They are far too honest for that sort of thing." The Lizardfolk adds nonchalantly.
(I apologize if I overstepped there. Should I have re-rolled stealth first again to see if they notice him get that close? Also, in following them, do I too get the perception check as well? Because passively, by hanging out in the dim light, my PP goes from a 16 to 11... and that came out so wrong.)

You're all good Othokent, if I need you to reroll for something like stealth, I'll ask, I appreciate you going through the effort though.
Wrex: You grab hold of the man's shoulder and flip him onto his back. Balding hair, scruffy jaw, and a chunk taken out of one nostril, mark this man as Galmin Lux, would be thief extrordinaire. You notice, however, what isn't a part of his usual features, several long claw marks across his body, ripping through clothes and one just behind the ear, his eyes are glazed but he is breathing, shallow and consistent.
Alvarin: Time for a perception check while Wrex makes his discovery.
Mazir: Your blast shoots high over it's small form, the light from it seeming to accentuate it's blank eyes, those blank eyes that remain focused on you. It lunges past your left side, attempting to tear into your hip as it passes.
ATK: 13 DMG: 6 and poison DMG: 1
If it hits I need you, Mazir, to make a DC 11 constitution saving through or be poisoned
* I would love for this to go four rounds without a single hit*
A mixture of amazement and fury will wash across Wrex's face as he grabs Lux by the neck and lifts him into the air. Holding him within inches of his face.... Wrex will lock eyes with him "My brother died trying to catch you you piece of shit!" Wrex will lift the cloth on over his eyes so that he can get a better look at Lux... "He may have been willing to cut you slack in the past but you will find that I am not nearly as forgiving as he was!" Slamming Lux against the wall hard, he will slap the manacles on him and toss his limp body over his shoulder. It is only now that he notices the the lizardfolk standing behind him. "Woah! Who are you?! Were you working with Lux too!" Wrex will stand pointing his warpick at him holding Lux with his other hand.

"What is that" Wrex will say, pointing to the mound (perception 16)
Wrex: Within the low light emitted from Alvaryn's torch, you can make out the the heap is vaguely humanoid in shape.
Wrex will walk slowly to the mound with his shield and war pick before poking it with the tip of his weapon.
Wrex: No response, It is a man, but he is turned away from you so that you can't tell of his identity.
As Wrex examines the mound Alvaryn sheath's his long sword and draws one of his hand axes, readying it for a toss just in case he needs to assist Wrex from his position slightly further back.

If so, here are the rolls:
Stealth: 15.
Perception: 10 and if at disadvantage because of dim light 7.
And if not, feel free to ignore them. :D
