 He specifically said that his voice pipes up a few feet behind us so I thought we were supposed to hear him.... I misunderstood if that was not the case, sorry.

As Torgar dashed down the stairs, the unknown tiefling fired off some kind of blast, and the strange creature lept back at her, Mikkeo feels like he's trapped in water. It's like a dream. Finally breaking through the mental fog, the dark-skinned violist produces the viol from his costume and runs the glowing bow along its strings. At the same time, he sings in a complimentary tune, "You almost had him, my new friend. Embrace the fire within to smite this danger."

As Wrex handles Galmin Lux Alvaryn stands ready and watching but disappointed. It was far too simple, where is the fun in that he thinks. Quiet for once, suddenly the day doesn’t seem as interesting as he hoped.
