As each member of the party continues to advance along the main tunnel, the source of the struggle suddenly makes itself known. An ogre enters the main tunnel from the area west of square K11. In its massive right hand it drags a greatclub; in its left it drags an unconscious male human. As soon as it enters the main tunnel, the ogre turns to its right and continues to walk north. In a seemingly miraculous stroke of luck, the ogre is completely unaware of the five adventurers lurking just to the south.
I will update the map in a few hours. Updated map below. A few details and requests:
Rixton and Carrow, the ogre entered the scene while you were stealthily moving forward. So, for your next post, assume that each of you made it to I12 before seeing the ogre.
Vigan, Andor, and Ladrian, I wasn't exactly sure where each of you were standing in the tunnel. So, it's possible the last map isn't accurate. Just let me know where you are standing in your next post and I'll reflect that on the next map.
No initiative roll is needed for this round because the ogre is wholly unaware of your presence (thanks to the -1 perception roll!), but it seems likely that initiative will be necessary for the following round; so you might as well include it in your next post. Also, any attacks made this round will done with advantage.
Carrow, your finely-tuned survival skills tell you that the 18" humanoid footprint belongs to an ogre. :D
After a nearly wordless conference with Carrow, I draw my rapier and dagger and dart forward. I look for tender spots that will bleed easily and decide to slash at the ogre's side.
Rapier Attack: 14 Damage: 9
If successful, sneak attack bonus damage: 5
Cunning action: Disengage and finish movement to L11, pressed against the west wall.
Seeing and hearing movements from ahead Andor darts forward until the enemy is in the dim light of the torch before launching an icy blast at the ogre.
The goliath, allowing the others to handle the task of ranged attacks, moves forward along the left wall so he can be within range of a melee attack next round.
(After Ladrian's and Carrow's actions, round 1 will begin).
The ranger sees the threat looking large at the edge of his vision, the others around him begin to move forward and attack the element of surprise with them for the moment.
Carrow takes a step forward and fires his longbow.
Ladrian finds a narrow window between Carrow and Andor that will allow him to fire a shot at the ogre with his shortbow. (Attack: 21 Piercing damage if successful: 8)
Rixton glides forward undetected and deftly thrusts his rapier into the side of the unaware ogre. Before the giant can even begin to respond to the rogue's attack it is struck violently in the head and neck by a blast of frigid energy that emanated from Andor's hand. Immediately thereafter, two arrows--one from Carrow and one from Ladrian--pierce the ogre's back.
Rixton quickly darts out of the ogre's path of rage, but in doing so enters a large open cavern that contains another ogre and three goblins. This second ogre is reclining in a pool of mud as it leans back against a large column of rock. The goblins are sitting, huddled together, focusing on something that lies on the ground in their midst.
The first ogre, completely surprised and now wounded multiple times, erupts into a rage. Dropping the human that it had been dragging, it turns and lumbers toward the four party members that remain in the main hallway.
Initiative for both ogres: 10
Initiative for three goblins: 20
Initiative order for round 1 (based on average of all rolls):
Andor, Carrow, Ladrian, Rixton, and Vigan (in any order)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(DM posting round 1 action for Vigan)
Vigan continues his march toward the ogre; the goliath raises his battleaxe and swings it at the monster's chest. (Battleaxe attack: 7 | Slashing damage if successful: 5)
The blow nearly causes the ogre to fall over backwards; it is obvious to all that the creature has very little fight left in it.
Bonus action: If the ogre is still alive, dagger Attack: 11 Damage: 4 Otherwise, I move to Carrow, Ladrian, and Andor and want them about the goblins and second ogre.
Just as he had done moments ago, Rixton slinks up behind the ogre and pierces the giant with his rapier. As the life leaves its body, the ogre attempts to turn and see who it is that has stung him again. The ogre's greatclub hits the ground first; the ogre himself does the same immediately after.
(Round 1 actions for Carrow, Andor, and Ladrian remain. Actions for the monsters will follow).
I have no need for my dagger as the rapier struck true, piercing the ogre between the ribs. I slink across the dim light to Carrow. "There are more in there," I say. "Maybe now is the time for your trap."
Unwilling to move out casting the light over Rixton Andor holds his position waiting for the others to move forward or wait for the enemy to come to them.

"I'll throw a torch somewhere in the middle so that we can have a better look at the enemies and we can do range attacks as well"Ladrian says moving to K11 and throwing his torch somewhere around N14, in the hopes that the area is illuminated enough so that we can all see the enemies.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(DM posting round 1 action for Carrow)
Carrow quickly rounds the sharp corner and squeezes through a narrow passage that gives him a bit of cover as he gazes into the large open cavern that has now been illuminated by Ladrian's torch. Having a clear shot at the second ogre, the ranger fires an arrow from his longbow. (Longbow attack: 14 | Piercing damage if successful: 7)
Carrow's arrow shatters as it strikes the column of rock next to the ogre. The three goblins in the northeast portion of the room jump to their feet and move toward the members of the party. Goblin #2 positions himself between two columns of rock and draws his shortbow, firing at Ladrian. (Shortbow attack: 10 | Piercing damage if successful: 5)
Goblins 1 and 3 dash across the open area and join the ogre who has just waded through the mud and has a greatclub in hand.
(Round 1 concludes. All players may take their round 2 actions in any order; the goblins and ogre will follow).
The chatter of the goblins and the sickly sound of the ogre rising from the mud divert my attention from the man our fallen ogre was dragging. I thought we might have more time but the fight continues. I whirl and run between Vigan and Ladrian, quickly assessing the scene over Ladrian's shoulder. Two goblins and a filthy ogre charge forward toward Ladrian. "Vigan, we're going to need your blade here right quick!" I yell. The threat that concerns me, though, is a goblin sniping from cover. That goblin will be pesky. Plus it might be helpful to flank the other goblins and ogre.
I see an opening but it won't last long, so I skirt along the edge of a cavern pool (using cunning action), nimbly staying out of reach of the goblins, then cut halfway across the cavern between the rock columns and mud pool. My shoes skid on the rocky cavern floor as I round on the hidden goblin's flank (N14). Breathing heavily and heart racing, I slash at the goblin quickly, trying to catch it off guard.
Rapier Attack: 6 Damage: 7
I rush my attack and my rapier clatters against the rock, missing the goblin by an embarrassing number of inches.
"That stinged! You'll pay for this" Ladrian says looking at the protruded arrow in his left shoulder. He draws his shortbow and aims at his attacker goblin #2
Seeing the enemy attack Andor moves forward to stand in support of Ladrian by the opening, eyes turning pure white a breeze starts to blow, calling forth a jagged blade of ice he hurls it at the goblin between the ogre and another goblin, hoping to catch all of them in the blast. As the spell ends winds start to writhe around the sorcerer as he flies back a bit further away from the enemy.
Movement to K11
Casts Ice Knife attack 21 for 8 cold damage then 6 cold damage (DC13 Dex save) when the blade explodes (hoping that the other two enemy are within five feet of the middle goblin).
Then using Tempestuous Magic to move 10' away to land by the dead ogre in K10

DEX save for goblin 1: 19 | DEX save for ogre: 4
Immediately after Rixton's attempt to melee the goblin archer, Ladrian's arrow pierces the goblin through the throat, dropping the creature instantly.
Andor's spell is sufficiently potent to kill goblin 3, and the ogre is far too slow to avoid being struck by the successive explosion of ice. Goblin 1, however, deftly darts out of the way.
Vigan takes a direct line for the ogre, and with battleaxe raised high, the goliath takes a vicious swing at the massive brute. (Battleaxe attack: 10 | Slashing damage if successful: 5)
