The goliath catches Carrow's eye and nods his appreciation for the quick kill.
"I intend to search the temple, even if only to stop that incessant ringing." Vigan had barely noticed the bell while focused on the worgs and goblins, but now everything was still, the noise felt like it was boring a hole in his skull.
Looking at Carrow and Andor, he continues. "One of you should go to Ladrian. The other can come with me. We should check on Rixton first though."
Vigan starts walking towards the temple, and his unconscious companion, scanning the village for signs of life. Whoever or whatever is ringing the bell, they do not tire easily, he thought.
I would like my cloak back actually, Carrow catches up with the Goliath bow in hand and gives him a brief pat on the back "c'mon big man lets shut this ******* bell up" quickly checking on Rixton, Carrow sets himself up opposite the temple door, bow drawn ready to breach another door.
You enter the inn through the front door and now stand in the main dining room, or what's left of it, along with Ladrian. A boulder has crashed through the roof of the inn, through the second floor, and landed in the dining room, leaving debris everywhere. A large table and two benches are shattered, but two smaller tables and their chairs remain in tact. On each table is an unlit oil lamp. Additionally, a dead goblin can be seen in the middle of the room; a crossbow bolt protrudes from its chest. You can see through a massive hole in the ceiling into one of the bedrooms upstairs. The hole, of course, was created by the giant boulder that takes up a large portion of the dining room. Roughly 20' to the north is a closed door that leads to another room, which you surmise is the kitchen. To the right of the kitchen door is a set of stairs that leads to the second story of the inn. You follow Ladrian cautiously up the stairs.
Ladrian and Andor:Upon reaching the landing at the top of the stairs, you see four closed doors--two on the west side of the inn and two on the east side. You know that whoever fired the crossbow and killed the goblin must have done so from one of the rooms on the eastern side of the inn. You see no movement and hear no noise whatsoever.
(If you choose to enter any of these rooms, identify the room by the corresponding door: northwest, northeast, southwest, or southeast)
"Our new friend was shot by the goblin archer, we should check on them straight away. How about I take that room there and you try that one?" He says pointing first at the northeast doorway and then at that southeast one. "Unless you think we should go in together?" Andor moves to the foot of the stairs ready to go up sparing a second to check the goblin really does look dead.

"Thanks for the help Andor. Maybe we should announce ourselves first? Or at least knock on the door. If I was on the other side with a readied crossbow aimed at the door expecting goblins, I would like that. "Then turning to Andor with a very serious face "Goblins... don't knock on the doors, right?"
"You're hurt bad, I didn't noticed. I don't have anything on me to help you that, I can just to make a quick bandage to ease the pain. Let me stay in the front, just in case. Let's try the southeast room and the northeast after. Ok?"
Ladrian and Andor: The knock on the southeast door is met only with silence.
Vigan and Carrow: What little light there is on this cloudy day makes its way into the high-vaulted temple where you now stand. Stained-glass windows are set into the north and south walls, and beneath those windows are some plain wooden benches. Against the back (west) wall stands a wooden pulpit with a few steps leading up to it; the temple floor is comprised entirely of dirt.
Set into the west wall, a bit north of the pulpit is a half-open door; you realize this door will lead to the ground floor of the bell tower. The bell continues to ring but with less frequency now. Other than these details, Carrow detects nothing.
"Hello, in the back, it's safe to come out now do not be alarmed we are here to help you"
Carrows voice is deep and rough as it echoes around the high vaulted temple interior. Keeping his bow ready he will aim it towards the open door at the back and wait for Vigan to enter.
"We are coming in, don't shoot!" he says to the northeast room's door. He then opens said door and ducks back having ushered Ladrian to the other side of the door first.

Before following Carrow into the temple, Vigan sweeps of the motionless body of Rixton effortlessly off the ground with one arm, and carries him inside. No sense in leaving you with pneumonia as well, he thought.
Setting Rixton down gently in the corner of the temple, Vigan follows Carrow's gaze to the half-open door.
"I'll go first. We should be ok, with Rixton as our rearguard." The goliath chuckles to himself, stooping as he passes through the doorway.
"Aye we'll be fine, as long as its not Worgs again, Lead on big man"
Carrow casts a glance back at the Rogue under his sodden rangers cloak and smiles to himself he then follows a few paces behind Vigan scanning the pews as he goes.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Carrow and Vigan: With the goliath in the lead, you enter the back room (approximately 10' x 20') of the temple, which serves the dual purpose of bedroom and steeple. The mattress on the plain wooden bed has been torn open; its straw contents have been pulled out and strewn about the floor. Also on the floor are priestly vestments and a few clothing items. Two small wooden chests stand against the south wall with their lids open.
The rope that leads upward to the bell is in a small alcove in the western-most part of the room. Just as you enter the room, a goblin who is approximately 6' off the ground and clinging to the rope drops to the ground and draws his scimitar. A second goblin, who is approximately 10' off the ground is doing his best to scurry downward and ready himself for whatever trouble may be coming next. Initiative rolls for goblin 1: 14 and goblin 2, who is clinging to the rope: 17

Andor
"I'm going to make sure that Ladrian stays safe, make sure you two do the same, you can check on Rixton before you go inside the temple. "
Moving off, Andor heads to the Inn as quickly as he can, hoping to arrive before Ladrian gets into any trouble.

Andor: The goblin is most certainly dead; the amount of blood spilled on the floor is convincing proof.

"Good question, I'm assuming not, so yes knocking sounds sensible, I don't think I can handle getting shot again.."
He trails off looking down at the blood still leaking from the arrow wound in his side.
"Still, first things first, shall we?"
