Between the exhaustion and his intense hunger (which is growing, by the way), Guan Hao has trouble focusing enough to recall even general legends of wendigos, let alone specific details.
"I know nothing of such abominations," Guan Hao growls, and wipes the back of his hand across his mouth. "You're the wizards. What do you know of curses?"
Elaric ponders for a moment but, with his reverie incomplete, his mind is foggy.
"If I heard correctly, then nothing specific to this situation. In general, I understand the basic theories as related to magical curse construction and destruction, but I'm afraid the basics alone won't be of much help."
[Researcher background] "I know there are many manuscripts at the Arcane University which contain much of the information we seek." After a contemplative pause, he adds, "Or, if the curse is native to this region, some of local sages may know how to assist us."
Eyeing Guan Hao speculatively, Elaric inquires, "What symptoms are you having, specifically?"

"Hunger. Ravenous. For meat. Flesh. Blood."
He touches the wound the monster gave him. [Is it still unusually tender?]
With a raised brow and a slight frown, Elaric replies, "Well, that's... potentially disturbing. Are you craving any particular kind of flesh? Elf or Human, for instance?"
Wendell shakes his head after considering the situation.
"In either case, this is beyond my ability to treat. Were this a man-made curse, tied to a known language or the laws of rational races, perhaps we could muddle through to an answer. But the creature we fought followed older laws and wielded older, less compromising magics. Nature and its spirits are not so easily swayed. Were Skoth with us, perhaps he might have an answer... but in his absence we should find one of the local tribes. A barbarian shaman or soothsayer might have the answers we need."
"I recommend we steer clear of my own kind, if possible," says Guan Hao. "I find the thought of Goliath flesh...particularly appealing."
He licks his teeth. His tone is even, calmer than it was a few moments ago. Aside from his obvious fatigue, he seems a tad blasé about his cannibalistic urges.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Concerned about the emotional shift in his companion, Elaric nods. "I do not recall seeing many Goliaths in Timberway, so avoiding them until we find a cure should not be very difficult. I also think the suggestion that we keep two on watch at all times to be a good idea... no offense intended to you, Guan Hao. If I can complete two more hours of reverie, I will be able not only to stand watch for the second half of the night, but also refresh my arcane abilities for the day. Wendell, how much rest do you require to prepare for your arcane needs?"
[DM, relevant skill check?]
Even in the midst of his reverie, the strained voices and use of his name reach Elaric's sensative Elf ears, bringing him to full awareness.
He approaches the small conclave in time to be present for Guan Hao's response.
Advantage on Nature
[Aaand with Guan Hao's 0 in Nature and -1 for sleep deprivation, he's going to need it...]

"Less than I'd like..." Wendell says ruefully.
He closes his eyes for a moment and tries to center himself.
"Let me get Elaric. I don't have any clear leads, but he might know more. If not... we'll think of something, don't worry."
The wizard turns to approach the elf and rouse him from his reverie.
And collides with Elaric.
"Ah. Right. Very good. Sorry." Wendell says to his fellow wizard, "Have you any knowledge of curse breaking?"

Wendell may make both a nature and arcana check regarding curses, if he so chooses.
