Also, Renear will give you enough time to grab the loot from the secret room. And you may decide if you'll join Renear for the Watch questioning or head to the sewers and leave him to take care of that alone.

((Is the art easily removable from the frame so they can be rolled up?))

Rindarius surveys the daggers, the shortsword, and the case of bolts and determines that having a few extra daggers on hand might be very helpful. He quickly stuffs four daggers in his pack, bringing his carried total to six. Rin leaves everything else behind. 

"To the sewers, lads?" asks Rin. "Renaer's in good hands now." 

Not one for the law, Phrael would nod to Rin, "Anything is better than dealing with the city watch."

Kebron looks at Rin slightly pleading, "But the art...the silver.  We have to take something with us."

Rin grins, "I'm no connoisseur of the finer things in life, Kebron; so I have no idea if that artwork is worth anything. I'll carry what weight I can in silver, however. Phrael! Flux! Are you able to carry a bit of this?"

Flux is bringing the guard with him, so.... yeah.

Couldn't take any silver bars even if I wanted to. Not that this cleric would do that. But the rest of you can try to snatch one just before Flux steps in with the guard, I suppose?

(I'm lost because I could have sworn Reaner was gonna deal with the guards so we could head to the sewers. )

He intends to when they enter with Flux. Before Flux got there though with said guards, the DM/Renaer  was giving the group time to raid the secret room if they so choose.

 Correct, basically Renear will meet with Flux and the captain of the Watch. Flux can excuse himself and meet the rest of the party, un other words there is enough time to raid the secret room and head to the sewers. 

And yes Kebron you can easily remove the art from the frames.

Phrael scratches his head, "it's a secret room, friends. I say we leave it and come back for it when we aren't planning to make a long arduous trip into the sewers. "

"Staying light on the feet...wise," responds Rin. "I'm ready."

Kebron removes the art from the frames, rolls it up and stashes it in his backpack.  He also grabs two bars of silver.

Once Flux entered and Renaer had the guards well and underhand, Flux followed quietly after the others. Though they give each of is companions both new and old a curious look before asking, "So... Where to next exactly? The sewers, right?"

"I don't want to say yes, but, yes.  To the sewers! Probably the easiest thing to find. " Phrael paying no mind to the guards as he heads out the warehouse to the nearest sewer grate or manhole. 

"To the sewers. A call to glory if I've ever heard one!" comments Rin. 

As Phrael said, it wasn't hard to find an entrance to the sewers...after entering you noticed that a putrid stream flows along this sewer tunnel, which leads in two directions. In one direction, you see a tiny symbol drawn on the wall in yellow chalk: a palm-sized circle with ten equidistant spokes radiating out from its circumference.
