Sayre, eating alone will hear a knock on the door. When she goes to open it she will see Chip and Gus standing in the doorway. "Hello Ms. Sayre" both guards will say. "We started our patrol this morning and heard that you all had returned from the camp victorious!" Both men will look excitedly to one another before back to the teifling. "Did you use any of the fighting techniques you were showing us last night? When does training start today? Gus will say with an eager look on his face.

"Good morning. Yes we used some," Sayre replies inviting them in for brunch.

OOC: Lol she'll feed anyone by now...

"Any thing to report from the patrol?" Sayre as she smiles curiously.

The two men will happily make their way into the Inn and heap the food on to their plates. "So how was it? Did any escape? How many did you take down? How many did Navek take down?" Gus and Chip will take turns rapidly asking questions in-between bites of food.

His weapon. Weren't no point to adding to his armor without the Defense fighting feature. Also, fine with me. This is ride-or-die at this point.

Reaction: Stone's Endurance Against Second Claw Attack: 4.

Navek shrugs off the second claw attack without much effort, but had to grit his teeth when the troll came in to bite him. Taking his flaming shield, he forces the creature back before with a pained growl before attempting to lay into it again with his axe. Again, he goes for the neck, aiming to cleave an arm off before circling it again. If not, he'll stay where he is.

Searing Axe: 24 Damage: 15.

Bonus Action: Second Wind for 3. (ONLY actually used if the damaged reduced by Stone's endurance is 7 or less.)

"Still wanna dance, you bastard! Or you wanna swim before the flames burn us both to nothing!" 

I would ask for an intimidate attempt, but crap like that takes a full action. 

**i had written a post last night but i guess i never submitted it. but i basically just finished up with the shops and went back to meet Sayre for brunch, but we can say i get there after gus and chip. Also thanked Thimbol for helping me with my transactions since i didnt know what i was doing. Also Mo gives Thimbol, Sayre and eventually lora a healing potion, and hold on to one for Navek when he gets back.** 

"Planning," Sayre begins with a soft smile. "Regrettably Navek did not take part. We choose to surprise them as well as set small fires to distract...." Sayre tells them about it all. From the regret of taking life but the necessity of it to keep the village safe.

After their meal she and the brothers will begin setting up the training area.

You don't have to roll anything to setup the training training grounds. Mo would have arrived while you were all eating and assisted in setting it up as well.

The troll will ignite as the flaming axe slashes across him and ignites the liquid covering him. Screaming with rage, the troll will lash out with flaming claws at the goliath "YOU DIE NOW!"

Bite Attack: 14 Damage: 7

The angry troll, covered in swirling flames will make two wild slashes with his claws before managing to land a hard bite on the goliath, igniting the flammable liquid covering him.

Sayre asks Mo to help her with the training grounds and to teach the guards some of his sweet moves but maybe NOT sleep...

It needs to make a CON Save as well at the start of its turn or take an additional 1d6 for searing smite. I also short changed myself some damage after looking up oil. Not that it matters, because Navek is unconscious due to the add 5 fire damage from the oil on him going up.

Mine as well see if he gets back up his turn. Otherwise, yeah... no more Navek.

(I didn't think you hit him with your first swing and then he hit you, and then you hit him and caused him to catch fire and so he took the extra damage.... ohhh... I see what you are saying. let me add another d6)

So as the flaming troll bites into the goliath, his tusks digging into his skin he will shake him violently before running towards the pond and jumping in to extinguish his own flames... tossing the goliath into the shallows along the way, causing the flames covering the goliath to extinguish as well as he lays mostly submerged on his back severely burnt, barley conscious, and surrounded by filthy muck. As Navek's vision goes red, the last thing he sees is the troll walk past him, still smoldering... growling to himself a smile spreads across his face "Man did bring Krug meat!" As the troll makes his way to your horse. You can no longer see when you hear the sound of the horse whinny in pain for just a second before everything goes quiet as you finish falling unconcious.

Roll me some death saves Navek until you either die or stabalize.

Darn it, Wreck! Why u no let troll eat Navek instead of Roc? T.T

Double dang it! He stabilized before he could get the 20 wake up.

(You were partially burried in the muck and the horse was just hanging out... also... as far as meat goes... you are like a lobster... have to remove the meat from a shell (armor) where that horse is just hanging out... standing there...)

(Nat 20 means you get 1 hp)

So after a few moments, Naveks eyes will open and he will gasp for air. as he looks up he can see the saddle and equipment that had been on Roc scattered in the middle of the road near a trail of blood that leads into the the bridge. While Navek cannot see the Krug he can clearly hear the tearing and grinding of meat and bone as the troll continues to feast on its meal.

(The troll... once no longer on fire started to regain HP again so while it is probably not at full health.. it is getting pretty close.)

(I will say that the first one didn't count if you want because it was before I got to describe the hit... or he can just stabalize in the much and spend 3 - 4 hours laying there until waking up... doesn't matter... he will be chewing on a horse either way... it just might be later in the day whenever he wakes up :P)

Time till Navek gets 1 hp in the muck: 2 hours

I'll take the first one so it really hammer in how much he ****ed up hearing the horse freshly get chewed up.

Navek coughs until he spat out a bit of blood. After taking in the scene, and hearing no complaints out of the horse, he bows his head. There was no shame in defeat; especially against a powerful foe. But again, he was denied, and another paid for his recklessness. He got up after a few moments with teeth gritted against the lingering pain of the fall. Oddly, he noted as he went to check the saddle for the stone, he felt a numbness along the right side of his face.

This he promptly ignored in favor of focusing on the task at hand until the sending stone was found, or the sound of grinding meat and bone waned to the point of becoming worrying. Whichever one comes about first, Navek limps his way out of the swamp, uttering one final prayer of apology and acceptance of whatever punishment Hepheastus' deemed fit to remind the goliath one last time.

"I deserve no forgiveness. But it is not place to say as much. I ignored your guidance except when it favored my own hurt. For that, I and more, I Repent."

When the numbness in the right side of his face and part of the arm didn't go away, but the pain at least in the rest of his extremities dulled, he had his answer.'

Navek keeps going until he got to the familiar edge of Black Oak Forest, and had every intent on setting up camp there. Come tomorrow morning, if nothing untoward happened for the rest of the day, he would be back in Black Oak with only his scars and Roc's blood saddle to tell the initial story.
