OOC: who's IDing what?! Sayre and Lora are in Smoke's shop. Why wouldn't we overhear this?

I hope this clears things up a bit. So smoke was out front doing his thing when he was talking you guys. I assumed that anyone that was not activly talking to smoke had gone inside. I would say that unless you want to make me a roll, anyone that has gone inside would not be able to hear what they are talking about because of the sounds of the shield guardian stomping around / carts going down the street / noises from things inside the shop. If you were to sit and watch him through one of the Windows inside the shop I guess you could try that but you would need to roll for that too. because Thimbol has not actually paid for anything yet and if you sent listening to his words, only saw smoke twirl a ring, hand it back, before pokong some gems and putting on a monocle.
But also since Thimbol said he isn't trying to hide anything and anyone is outside still while this is happening, you would definitely hear it. Just let me know what people are doing.
also, Navek waited by the road, talked to a little boy, and identified the bag all by the road away from the shop
So smoke will adjust his dragon monocle and look closely at the ruby.... then to the gloves, and boots....If you want to know all three... It would normally be 75 gold... but because we have a little history together... I would say that you can have a small discount. Sixty gold for those three items. Shooting Thimbol a smile. He will then proceed to tell the hafling that he is in possesion of.....

Also, before Mo takes off for measurably the shop, he did tell him to let the others know about his spell working essentially, and that they could/should see about what the shop had to offer at least in case they wish to trade whatever is ultimately split among the party. Whether he does so or not is up to him.

OOC: So how would Navek ID stuff in a safe on tgw side of the road? This is my confusion.
Sayre was in Smoke's shop essentially watching Thimbol still trying to riddle out the conversations she did not understand between him and the lizard man. She then observes Smoke doing hus magic trick with his monocle she's watched since she was a girl.
"Quite a boon Thimbol," Sayre says after Smoke IDs the gear. "How will we share it," she asks curiously then looks to Lorarila for her opinion.

OOC: Thimbol had taken the stuff from the safe and put it in the bag. Navek had brought the bag with him when you all left the inn because the plan was to see smoke. Navek identified the bag outside and is now going to identify the contents. Thimbol had looted the chest in LeadBelly's bedroom and was wearing all of it's contents.
Thimbol hummed quietly as Smoke revealed the items the halfling was wearing. "Much appreciated." Shuffling through his coat until pulling out a small bag and then handing it to Smoke without looking through it. "60 gold then. I can fit that. The others I'm with might have some purchases as well. " Mumbling to himself, "Hopefully they'll split the cost this time." A look given to Sayre, "Sounds like a question for the group. I wouldn't know how to divvy up properly. " Thimbol would nod to Smoke before heading out to Navek to see what the Goliaths found.
"I didn't expect you to pay outright," Sayre will reply. "I assumed you were using the communal pot. We did specify we had one," she'll add. Sayre then turns to her cousin. "Anything new since I last worked," she'll ask with a childlike enthusiasm!

"Ah young one!" Smoke will give her a smile. "You know how it is... another day... another artifact to recover and sell for a massive profit to the highest bidder." He will give her a big grin. "Money isn't going to make itself you know" Smoke will turn from Sayre and nod to the Guardian and watch it for a moment as it disappears behind his shop before turning back to Sayre. "What can I do for you today?"
"I would like some rangery things," Sayre replies with a smile.

Smoke will say, scratching his chin and giving Sayre a quick once over. "Your friend had quite a few nice pieces... I didn't realize that the mayor was paying his new heroes so well.." He will look to you raising an eyebrow.
