So as Thimbol goes to work on the safe, the longer he spends the more of the numbers he figures out... eventually after an hour he is able to figure out the combination to the safe so that he can close and open the safe without a problem.
Navek carries on inside, and after some hesitation busy himself with plainly looking around while the girls settled matters with smoke. When it seems the two have settled up for the most part, he calls out for Smoke, "How much for this thing?"He jabs a thumb at a Robe that looked to be covered in patches. "Annnd.. those over there. Those are -- Bangos? Think that's what those were called."

Smoke will look to Sayre and extend a hand for a handshake. "You can have bracers at that price, and I will expect you keep your side of the bargin" He will turn around and pull out a small piece of paper and hand it to you. "that paper contains information on a few Items I require.... One was actually supposed to be delivered to me by Mr. Leadbelly himself... It is an old Grandfather clock... very expensive.. taller than you... and has a few magical properties that I won't bother you with. Last time I spoke to Leadbelly he said he would have it to me shortly... that he had already picked it up and just needed to deliver it... well... it never showed.
The next item is a chest. The chest will contain a shipment of rare spell components and potion ingredients. It was supposed to have arrived last week but never made it. I was told that it was coming from a seller in the Stormhammer.... I would like you to find that shipment for me... My guess is that it was intercepted by bloodscales on its way to me. Smoke will then turn to Lorarila and smile. So are you willing to buy your set? They are yours if you have the money... He will say, picking up the ring and twirling it in his hand.
Thimbol would put the items he had on in the safe, dressing back in his original outfit. The safe seeming the safest place for now until the items were claimed by someone else or sold.

Locking up the safe, Thimbol went to looking about the inn once again. He knew Mo would be by soon after cleaning up their camp site and the others probably once the shopping was finished. Then the group would most likely head out to the blood scales before there day ended. Until then the halfling simply wanted to become more familiar with every nook and cranny. Starting with the room full of old furniture, pulling sheets away to see what they were dealing with.
"Where's Mo," Sayre will ask coming out of Smoke's with her new bracer's on wishing to show them off!
Wondering where Mo has gone too Sayre will leave from Smoke's finding out from the party that Mo when to gather his things from his campsite which was nearby her own in the forest. Mo had repeatedly woken Sayre in the morning with his 'wake up song' and she smiled fondly thinking now of how she had gained a sort of family in a matter of days. Unconventional as they might seem she was being to appreciate most of them but Mo especially!
OOC: I realize I am metagaming AF but I'm not going to let my 'feather buddy' die in the GD forest Wreck?! I will not roll a thing. I just want to get there.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Smoke will watch the Goliath and examine the items he places on the table. "hmm... well... I think the drum is around 300 gold and the robe is 700 gold..... so 1000g will get you both friend."
****I had typed up a longer description about what happened to Mo and what he saw and heard as everything went dark.... but then I realized that he wasn't actually at 0 HP so I deleted it. I will need Mo to roll initiative though!****
OOC: Sayre would know that Mo said that he was going to clean up his camp before you spoke with Smoke and purchased your items so he probably had at least a 15 or 20 minute head start on you... granted he was walking at his slow pace and playing on his drum a bit along the way. You however have never been to his camp... you have heard his drumming in the mornings so you would have an idea of where it is located in relation to where your camp was located but you do not know it's exact location. Sayre may decide that she wants to head towards his camp to show off her bracers and help him pack up now that she is done shopping but she has no reason to rush because there has been no indication that he is in trouble.
if you wanted to find his camp, I would let you roll survival with advantage because he was not camped very far outside of town and you have heard him playing so you have a pretty good idea of where it is... and he is huge so there would also probably be easy to find tracks since it wasn't like he was hiding out or anything.
So as the bolt passes easily through the Goliath, he turns and looks towards the tent as a red cloaked figure begins to shuffle towards him from within. After flexing his muscles and letting out a low grunt, the blood seems to stop flowing from his wound before Mo unleashes a loud thunderous wave from a hard "crack" on his drum. The Figure is able to remain standing as the thunder wave slams into him. Although he is able to stay standing, the tent collapses on top of him as Mo manages to roll away, giving the goliath a chance to hide before the man is able to toss the remains of the tent off of him.
Once the free of the tent, The Bloodscale will start to move through the camp and around the area trying to find you, but he is unable to do so. A moment later he will curse and attempt to mount a horse that is tied up to a nearby tree, partial concealed behind some brush. As he turns to mount the horse you can see where he had apparently taken an arrow back and is not feeling too good.
Con save for bloodscale 16 Perception check to find Mo 2
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the cursed BSer trying to make his escape, Mo will run up behind his horse, swing his drum around in front of him and SLAM it even harder then before causing a THUNDERWAVE to explode outwards.
(con 12 or take 10 thunder dmg, half on success, and you better be rolling for that horse too.)

As Mo approaches camp and starts to collect his items, the heavy twang of a crossbow will ring out next to him from inside his tent.
Attack: 7 Damage: 10
The Bolt will slam hard into his chest, easily passing through his armor and out his back and into a nearby tree...

A bolt slams into Mo's chest, AND HE BARELY EVEN FEELS IT CAUSE HE"S SO GOD DAMNED STRONNGGG!.
Knowing he needs to alert his friends he slams down on his drum creating a Thunderclap that can be heard for a 100 ft away.
He would then do like a cop roll into some bushes or behind a tree to get some cover.

Roll me an initiative really quick there Mo, just to make sure you can do that before he fires another bolt into your face :P
