A very much out of breath Navek with a probably much less so Lorarila calls out to Sayre and Mo in transit. He's relieved smile seeing the two shifts swiftly into a deeply furrowed brow at the sight of the man bound up and being carried or dragged along. "Guess that solves our messing man, problem. Glad you two are safe."He states, still a bit out of breathe but intensely focused now.
"Sorry it too so long. If I had of figured..."Navek shakes his head at that point, and just pulls out from the bag of holding the Long Sword of Warning followed by the Bangos of Illusion and pass them over. "What's done is done. Just glad you safe. And if you get the gumption to run off on your own, at least you'll have a bit of warning. It'll glow faintly when there's danger, and... let's say 'tickle' you awake for the same reason." He says as much at the moment before turning to Sayre and passes along the Longbow+1, Boots of Elvenkind, giving her the cliff note version that starts to span into a story about some Wood Elf Renegade he had to hunt down once to preserve the peace between two nations.
Navek doesn't elaborate on names, and if/when brought up at any point, trails off with a melancholy look about him. But after a pause, he fishes out the Smoldering, Studded Leather Armor, and makes a small jests about it enhancing what others perceive of her as he passes it along to Sayre.
"... By the way, little Lora. These are for you. Do with them what you will." At that, Navek passes over the Ring of Truth Telling and the Ring of Water Walking. This time when gives the cliffnotes version, they remain just so. "Think there's---"He looks into the bag, only to remember its properties and mutter something along the lines of 'Doh' under breath. "Yeah, just shield. Thinking of seeing about having it sold later to add to group funds. But that's later. I'm gonna head back to Inn. See if Thimbol is there and that old there hadn't managed to recruit anyone else. Soon as you kids are done with the horse, make sure that guy gets to the cell."
Navek gives them each a hard look before taking a deep breathe, and take off to the Inn. If it looks as if one or more were about to join him, Navek raises a hand and shakes his head. "Don't worry. If there turns out to be a problem, I'm not gonna be reckless this time. As my Lord as my witness. Just make sure this guy doesn't slip your grasp."

As Thimbol walks through the doors of the jail, Payne is sitting at her desk. She will look up to Thimbol and brush a few loose hairs out of her face before standing up and walking over to him. "I assume you are here to speak with the prisoner again?" She says, pulling a key off of her belt and walking towards the door to the basement. "You may go down there and speak with him. I will stay up here with the key to his cell.. I don't want anyone going in there and trying to kiss him again." You will see a small thin smile spread across her chrimson lips as she opens the door and motions you to enter.
As thimbol heads down the stairs and approaches the cell, Drak stands up and approaches the cell.. his hands once again chained together, he will make his way to the bars of the cell and and grab them with his claws and stick his head between the bars as far as he could. "So what are you doing back here traitor?" Drak will say, voice dripping with annoyance. "I already told you and your friends everything I have to say... I am surprised you didn't bring your goliath muscle with you."A small smile spreading across his face..."or did you want to discuss things not meant for their ears..."
Navek arrives a short time after Thimbol has already arrived at the jail and finds no one in the Inn when he gets there. He does notice a few new items he did not see before spread out around the inn.
Sayre will take the wounded horse to the farm realizing that most the group is together minus Thimbol, taking it slow to make sure that the horse doesn't hurt itself further. Once there she will take a little time to talk with MaryBeth and Kip before returning to the Inn sometime later.
Mo and Lorarila I assume are taking the prisoner to jail?
Mo will take the hog-tied man to the jail and speak with Payne, "Got another for you. Can you stick him somewhere where he can't talk to the lizard one? If not maybe we leave him gagged? I don't want those two making any secret plans while we're kicking the rest of the BSers asses"
Thimbol would tip his hat to Payne as greeting, “Yes, ma’am. I believe the prisoner has more to share that hopefully will be a lot easier to get than with another kiss.” He offered as he followed the Sheriff to the basement. ”I won’t be long.” Making his way down the stairs and toward the cell. He’d stop short of the bars, not wanting to give Drak a chance to reach through and grab him.
The halfling smirked as he shook his head slightly, “How are you, Drak? You’re looking...different.” Thimbol shifted in his stance, hands shuffling through his pockets. ”Muscles only go so far. A guy like you and me operate a little differently. Not everyone would understand.” Bringing out his hands, each holding a different bag and sounding differently as he shakes them. ”Platinum and gems, old friend. If the information is right.” The bags disappearing back into his pockets. “How’s the gang? How’s Shiv? The old hideout seen a few upgrades over the seasons or even a new location? How many members are you now? Minus three of course....”
The booming voice of the goliath echoing down into the basement. “Talk quickly. You don’t have much time.”
(Sorry about all the color differences. Phone being really stubborn.)
The new arrangements are confusing, but Navek tries to brush the thought of them aside to examine every inch of the house accessible that might be accessible to the halfling. He even calls out a few times. Only once absolutely certainly of the halflings disappearance does his attention turns to the sending stone left behind at first. If it is still there, he takes it up, and after a quick glance around to see if anyone followed him, he says into, "If you can hear this or still alive, Lady Swifthammer. Know that Leadbelly has not forgotten you. So says a friend, Speak again tomorrow." He stands there in silence for a moment before pocketing the stone and leaving.

As Thimbol shakes the gems, Draks eyes will light up for a moment before returning to a hard stare. "How can I spend money if I am locked up... are you offering to release me as well? As smile will spread across his face. "Shiv is good old friend... he has been providing the most loyal of us.... GIFTS..." When he finishes his sentence he opens his mouth and Thimbol can see a set of fangs mixed in among his razor sharp teeth." I tell you what.. you promise to let me out and leave me one of those bags of yours somewhere where I can find it... and I will tell everything I know about our camp and the personel.... or should I say... personal changes some of us have been going through.... " Drak will look to the far gate and then back to Thimbol... Better decide quickly... sounds like your friends are coming.
Thimbol hesitated briefly, needing more time to think about the proposal presented to him, but he knew it was now or never. “Alright, Drak. You’ve got yourself a deal. I’ll give you the means of letting yourself out. I’ll leave my tools with you and you can fiddle with the cell lock at night. The bag.” Thinking for a moment. “I’ll leave behind the church.” A quick glance would be given toward the stairs then back to Drak. The halfling already having his bag of tools out and extended for the lizardfolk to grab. Assuming that was a good enough compromise. “If I try to let you out myself, now... We’ll both be caught.”
Drak will quickly grab the tools and stuff them under his bed roll in the corner of his cell. "I will answer any questions you ask in front of whoever comes down those stairs.... i'll let you play the hero for your friends.."

As Mo bursts through the front door, Payne stands in amazement and leads you and Lorarila downstairs. "All our cells are down here... we can keep him gagged anytime he isn't eating if you like." As Payne leads you to the new prisoners cell, Mo and Lorarilla see Thimbol speaking to Drak.
Thimbol jerked slightly at Mo’s words, quickly trying to regain some composure before turning to face the Goliath...and the half-elf. “Mo...Lorarila. I wasn’t expecting either of you” Glancing between the two briefly before catching sight of another Blood Scale bound and gagged led by Payne. “Wha...What is this?” The halfling wasn’t expecting this. A second blood scale to be caught and put next to Drak. They both could escape under cover of the night with the tools he just gave the lizard... Thimbol could feel the grin from Drak before even turning to face him.He couldn’t go back on the deal he had made now. He’d be ratted out. “I was...I was just questioning the prisoner further. I felt there was more he could tell us.” Staring at Drak, he’d swallow hard, “Now, what were you saying about the camp and the changes the Blood Scales have been going through?”
Drak will let the grin slowly fade, turning from his companion to Thimbol. "I... I'll tell you anything you want to know... just don't hurt me please?" The large lizaedfolk will drop to his knees and look to thimbol.. then to the others... then back to thimbol... "So Shiv is running the show at the camp... There are about eight other bloodscales that didn't come with us that I would assume are still there. In addition to those eight, Shiv has a small pack of wolves he uses to detect anyone getting too close. The wolves are feed on the north side of camp at dusk and dawn... you might be able to poison their food or something if you didn't want to have to sneak past them... Drak will then stand up... and rub the scales on his chin. "The changes you may have noticed in myself and my friend over there... are gifts given by Shiv. He was instructed to hand out the vials to only the best of us... that is why we were chosen for this mission. The vials grant reptilian strength and booms to those that drink them. No longer does the name "Bloodscales" have anything to do with limiting the amount of bloodshed done and keeping our violence limited to balance out with crimes we were committing.... now it refers to the spilling of blood to bring about the scales within... the unleash our true potential. The alizardfolk will stop for a moment as he hears the sound of more footsteps coming down the stairs as Sayre emerges, having finished delivering the injured horse.
Payne, after tossing the new prisoner in his cell would have listened to the lizardfolk before shaking her head. "Great.. so instead of just a bloodthirsty gang... we are dealing with some kind of snake lizard cult?.... great..." She will slam the door hard and give Sayre a nod and stop a moment before heading upstairs "I think you guys have your work cut out for you based on the information your friend Thimbol just got the lizardman to spill..." She will say to Sayre before disappearing up the steps.
"Really? Thimbol, that is amazing and you didn't even get spicy kisses either. Bravo! I knew you were a absolute necessity to this group. What would we do without you? I will definitely treat you with all the attention and respect you deserve. Keep it up and you will be our Ace, may even our strategist." Clapping her hand happily and excited.
After stabling the other horse and making arrangements to pay their keep Sayre will return to the jail knowing No woukd have taken the other BSer there but making it back well after all that goes down.
"Oh," Sayre exclaims! "What have I missed? Did Lora...interrogate him too," she'll as with a nervous look at the entire group her gaze heaviest on Thimbol.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Before the arrival of the second Blood Scale, Thimbol would have doubted the lizards words, but it was clear something was happening to them and he'd have far more questions to ask, outside of the normal line of interrogation. Thke arrival of the others making it impossible to continue.
"Well, Drak, if what you say is true then you can consider the deal you made with Lorarila to still hold and you'll find yourself free in no time." A quick look cast toward the other blood scale, "Your friend, of course, will have to answer to Lorarila before the same can be said for them. "
The half-elfs praise not going unnoticed, but it was certainly incorrect. Thimbol stood in silence as he went over everything in his head then started to make his way out. "Remember, Drak, you can always find help at the church as the midnight bell tolls, ringing in the new day. " Unable to look at the others, the halfling made his way up the stairs.
It's happened. Someone combined the two goliaths into the denial of all things!
Navek has been making his way to the prison. "Howdy Sheriff. The others make it here yet? Need to let'em know I couldn't find --- Oh! There you are little Thumb." He squints. "Judging by that look on your face, I take it the others made it then."Navek strokes his beard a few times in thought and considers the bag in hand. After a few moments of this, he fishes out the shield before passing the bag back along to Thimbol. "Here you go bud. Returned as promised.... Sort of."He cracks grin.
"Huh. Surprised you didn't keep the boots on you at least. Seeing as how -- no offense to the others, but... eh, we can talk about that later. Come with me to 'ol Smokes. The others will probably be a bit, and we -- that's you and me -- need to get squared away on something there. I'll explain on the way." He looks to Payne and with an apologetic smile says, "You'll let the others know when they come topside, right? I know your no messenger 'n all, but I promise to make it up to you later." He says as he goes to clasp her hand in both of his and look her deep into the eyes. "Count on it."

The hobgoblin looks up to the Goliath and locks eyes with him, placing her other hand on top of his... tilting her head just a bit as though she was trying to figure out what he was planning... before shaking her head a little bit with a small smile, quickly pulling her hands away and moving back to her desk. "Uhh.. yes. Ahem, I can let your friends know where to find the two of you when they are done questioning the prisoners..." As the two of you turn to leave you hear her shout "Hey! How about from now on you guys just start killing these jerks instead of bringing them all here for me to take care of" A smile spreading across the her normally hard face. "I am not running a bed and breakfast you know."
Thimbol glanced up to Navek as the other Goliath arrived. "Yes, sir. They all just got here with another blood scale." Seeing the bag, he'd take it, but know looking through it would be pointless. "Anything left? " tucking the bag into his coat with ease before following behind. "Smokes again? Sure. As for the boots... eh, they're still at the HQ locked up for anyone, just don't see a use for myself yet. "
"We have to start somewhere for recruits!"Navek leaves chuckling on that final note. "Fraid not. Everything else has been passed along to the others. Consider adding a few for Trade later, but thought better to hold off for the others second input on'em. Though honestly, don't see us dealing in them anytime soon."Navek says while walking and examining the sentinel shield. "Wait! Did you say you didn't see a -- Boy! Those were boots of speed! Speeed, son! Even those Catfolk of Nine of Talzai's agility is nothing compared to those. You know what, come to think of it, once had a friend that managed to get a hold of a pair once."
"This was back during the time I was a gladiator. Now mind you. All the speed in the world won't do you none good trapped in a box. But this gnome? Hoo boy! That girl would take on five to one odds, and just run so many circles around the competition that one even broke his neck trying to keep up with her. It was just... amazing." Navek nudges Thimbol's side and grins. "Something to think about, eh? I'd use'm myself, but... eh. I don't got as much use for'em being a man of the Front."

After a few moments of this, he fishes out the shield before passing the bag back along to Thimbol. "Here you go bud. Returned as promised.... Sort of." He cracks grin.

"We have to start somewhere for recruits!" Navek leaves chuckling on that final note. "Fraid not. Everything else has been passed along to the others. Consider adding a few for Trade later, but thought better to hold off for the others second input on'em. Though honestly, don't see us dealing in them anytime soon." Navek says while walking and examining the sentinel shield.
