Leoros moves unhurriedly, at a normal walking pace. He takes one left, then a right, finally going down an alley where, at the end, a carriage awaits. The carriage is not a livery service like before, or regal in any way; it is simply a nondescript means of transportation, with no real markings of any kind. There is at least one person standing outside it, though you are too far away to make out any details. Leoros is about 100 feet from the carriage, but clearly moving towards them as the time nears ten bells.
Glory is still feeling the effects of the encounter with the brooms and doesn't want a confrontation. He will hang back and watch. He will message Blue Eyes "He is approaching a carriage that seems to be waiting for him. There is at least one person waiting for him outside the carriage. I'm still banged up from our previous encounter with the brooms and I need a rest. I'm going to watch but not interfere. If you have any suggestions I will listen." Glory stops in order to stay hidden and waits.
Blue Eyes nods and responds "Let's see how Leoros plays this out. If they attack him, I will help him. You do what you need to do. No sense in getting two of us killed."
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Leoros approaches the window of the carriage, and drops his voice so that you have to strain to make out the conversation.
"The good Mister Trapp told me to tell you there was some...interference...at the Portal tonight. A group of strangers disrupted the search for the gnome's clues. He bid me give you this as recompense."
With that, he takes off the curious headgear he had on earlier, and hands it through the window. After a pause, a voice responds. "Master Grimehouse, verify this does what I suspect it does." A hand tosses the cap out of the window to one of the two figures, and that figure begins working on what appears to be a ritual. "And what will the good Mister Trap do about this interference?"
Leoros blinks. "I...I don't know. He bade me come here, and nothing more. It seemed like a reasonable suggestion at the time. So, I'll, uh, just take my leave now, good sir, shall I?"
Glory will move to within 80 feet and ready a crossbow at the carriage door. If there is an attempt to force Leoros into the carriage or to attack Glory will defend Leoros and himself. He yells, "Is there any way we can change that to 'yes young Leoros you may leave'? I was hoping this would have a better ending but I'm ready to help my new friend if something goes wrong."
“I am not one to conduct business calling across the street,” replies the voice, still inside the carriage. “Your ‘friend’ has made himself part of my business, and will leave when it is concluded, not before.”
”Of course, if you would like to make yourselves part of my business, too, by all means, come closer, like a civilized business partner.”
"Apparently Leoros understanding of his business is done for I heard him say he was bade to come here and 'nothing more'. Are we to assume he is required for more? I do not know the meaning of your business but we have already had dealings with a number of ruffians who are now in the supervision of the City Watch. Can you help us understand what needs to happen now? We don't want to get violent."
"I have never seen this man before in my life (Me neither, adds Leoros quickly) and my interest in him relies chiefly on his presence, instead of the one due at this hour. If he -- or you - can explain that to my satisfaction, and why I am not currently holding what is promised, he - and you - may go, freely. Otherwise, come closer, that we may have further words."
At that, the larger of the two men outside moves behind Leoros, not making any motion to grab him, but positioning himself to prevent any flight.
Darruk puts away his crossbow and uses his axe as a crutch to support himself like an extremely drunk might(a condition he knows well)
Performance or deception (both are +0) 6
Darruk stumbles out towards the carriage hoping its noticed his voice is different and he wasn't the one talking. Oye! Quit yer blasted hollering. I'm going to have a bad enough hangover in the morning already.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
A throaty chuckle emerges from the carriage.
"Do you think I was born yesterday? Master Grimehouse, deal with this, please."
Initiative order. Map will be coming tonight, as I have to make one first. Those of you who have directly communicated with the people in or around the carriage, you are seen. Those of you who have attempted to remain hidden *may* in fact be hidden. The alley itself is perhaps 25 feet wide, and about 70 feet long. You may position yourself however you wish, as long as it fits with the social interactions you have done so far:
Glory: 6
Blue Eyes: 3
Saraba: 13
Darruk: 8
Valafar: 9
In carriage: 12
Grimehouse: 5
Bandit: 18
and, in order now rolled. (I Have included Saraba despite his absence, in case he returns. If he does not, and somebody wants to take non-suicidal combat actions for him, I have no objections.)
With a final nod, Leoros strides out the door and towards a side alley

As far as Glory can tell, he is undetected by Leoros.

As the bells chime, Leoros approaches the carriage.
"Stop, who are you?!" one of the figures barks. "Where is Trapp?"
Leoros does not turn his head as he keeps walking. "Trapp? Oh, the nice fellow back at the Portal. He told me to give you something."
"Stop! Last chance!" the man snarls as he levels a spear. Leoros strides ahead, as if the man and the spear were not present.
"Wait, wait a moment," comes a honeyed voice from inside the carriage. "Let's see what this man has to offer. We can always skewer him later."
Blue Eyes nods and responds "Let's see how Leoros plays this out. If they attack him, I will help him. You do what you need to do. No sense in getting two of us killed."
