Grimsdatch dashses to cover the eastern exit of the fog, as Saraba closes on where he heard Darruk stop somebody. He swings at the figure from the carriage, but barely misses connecting. The man known as Farnok attempts to break free from the vice-like grip around his arm.
Darruk, athletics to contest this check please: 22
Athletics 9 attempting to break free is his action? I'm holding him at point blank if he tries to flee do I get an attack of opportunity followed by my actual turn?
Farnok swings his arm up against Darruk, then back out against the thumb and index finger to break the grasp, and begins to move away. Darruk and Saraba, being right next to him, can sense that he is moving towards the north.
Your are correct on both counts; escaping the grapple counts as his action, and Darruk and Saraba, both being within melee range, may both take an opportunity attack here as he moves. Disadvantage, as you all all still in this cloud.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Glory is unsure how to help. He will attempt to run into the darkness in the direction of Farnok hoping, if nothing else, to distract (help action) him. (If needed perception: 4)

Darruk reaches out for the slippery arm, but it eludes him. You can hear movement rushing rapidly away, towards the north. (Even those not directly near him can clearly hear he is rushing out the northwest side.) Assuming for the sake of narrative that Darruk had to use movement to chase down the miscreant, he makes contact just near where the cloud begins to thin out, and attempts another grab. (Contest to avoid: 9)
Darruk's grip once again locks onto the retreating mastermind, whose formerly impassive demeanor has begun to crack.

From to the east, you hear "Aye, get rid of the damn smoke!"
A Gust of Wind emanates from that area, and the cloud begins to dissipate, restoring visibility. Farnok attempts to break the fighter's tight hold. 4 (Darruk, athletics to contest, please)
With the cloud dissipated, Farnok's impassive mask falls further, as this time he fails to break out of Darruk's grasp. His gaze goes from rooftop to rooftop, as if looking for support. Grimsdatch coughs and waves away the remnants of the smoke.
Everybody may go at this point, as, unless support arrives, Farnok is currently the only foe in intiative.

Saraba slips behind Farnok and tries to deliver two chops to the back of his neck in a attempt to knock him unconscious (think old school Star Trek Captain Kirk, non lethal damage of course)
"My my what a team we make"Glory clearly didn't help but takes it all in stride. "So are you ready to take this fellow into custody Grimsdatch? We really are trying to stay on the side of the law." The small irony of this is not lost on Glory, and he is sure, Grimsdatch. "So Leoros, where is this macguffin you keep passing around? Did we ever find it in the possesion of Farnok or do we need to search his carridge?"
Farnok squirms in Darruk's grasp just enough to avoid Saraba's first blow, but the second strikes home. He sags a moment, appearing defeated. Leoros looks suspiciously at this more compliant Farnok, then to Sergeant Grimsdatch, then gratefully to Glory. "The headpiece should still be in his carriage."

Blue Eyes is going to continue standing by behind Darruk with his hammer held high in case the enemy escapes his grasp.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.

Darruk holds firm with one arm and attempts to punch Farnok in the nose with the other. Attack 14. Damage 3(if hit)
The blow strikes Farnok on between the eyes, and he blinks more at the indignity of it than the actual damage.

Glory will move to the carriage and search for the macguffin (mask): Perception - 13
