Name: Bethany the Bold Race: Variant Human Class: Fighter Background: Soldier Brief backstory: Bethany left her home working for her father in an inn on the road from Baldur's Gate to Waterdeep to become a mercenary soldier. Her unit took heavy losses in some combat and she left. She returned to find her father dead, her brother running the inn (and expecting her to return to the kitchen) and found herself at a loss for what to do. How did you join up with the group: On their way to Waterdeep, the group stopped at the inn. Bethany got to chatting, and they seemed to need an extra hand in combat, so she offered to join them. How often can you post: Daily, mornings EST. with occasional missed days on weekends.
Name: Nam’nha Krump Race: High Elf Class: sorcerer Background:Haunted one
Brief backstory: Abandoned as an infant, Nam’nha was discovered and taken in by a family of wood elves in a small farming village. Everything seamed normal till his teen years. He began hearing a voice in his head telling him he has some power inside of him. The voice never reveals its name or source. Everyone starts thinking he is a little crazy till one day when he is in the fields working, he is startled by a rodent and flames burst out from his hands igniting the field and burning half the crops. Out of fear, his adopted family tell him to leave and find his real family so he can discover the source of this power. Nam’nha wonders the world learning to control his power and often argues with the “voice” that wants him to do things he does not want to do but the “voice has helped him to harness this power more. The “voice” wants to help him with his power but to an unknown motive and so begins his search for answers.
How did you join up with the group: The voice just keeps nagging at him about the Yawning portal. To shut up the voice for a while, Nam’nha joins a small group heading that way. He introduces himself to the group in a quiet, passive way as to not draw to much attention before moving outside the group and whispering to himself.
Brief backstory: Since a young age, Riyola lived on the streets under the care of a thief. Her childhood and early teenage years were spent helping that caretaker, while learning a few tricks that were known among all thieves, until said thief was caught, put in jail, and she was sent to lived among the town's church. There, Riyola was initially reluctant to learn anything about their deity, with time, she had a change of mind, and now, she has faith in that deity as much as the priest who ruled over that church. Seeing her new devotion, the priests chose her to help as a squire to the sole church's paladin, with that she learned all she needed to swear her own oath.
How did you join up with the group: (It may vary wildly depending on what the group is, but here is my idea) In the middle of her starting mission as a Paladin, she discovered walking around Waterdeep of the gold prize hidden in town, and to stop any evil person to hold on to that themselves, she searched for a group she could trust, to help her take that prize away from evil hands.
How often can you post: More than once a day, even though mondays and wednesdays make it hard to break that record.
Ability Scores: The default 7, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, since I don't want to use the stats I rolled a few posts back.
Name: Bokinti Race: Lightfoot Halfling Class: Rogue Background: Criminal Brief backstory: Bokinti was raised in a big city and as a halfling had to adapt and stay out from underfoot from an early age. As he grew older he realized he had a knack for stealing and sneaking. Most of the time no one assumes the tiny, almost insignificant, little halfling could be up to anything that would cause serious damage. How did you join up with the group: My criminal contact in the city said there may be something big worth taking and I couldn't resist How often can you post: at least twice a day probably a lot more than that most days
