"Take some time to collect whatever supplies you may need from the local peddlers. We will leave at dawn," Glendale nods.
"One more thing," Rowan says, "When we treat with the orcs, we go in unarmed. The orcs of Many Arrows trust us as much as we do them, and we must show no signs of even thinking of aggression."
Roccar scowls even more, crossing his arms, grimly asking, "And exactly where will we be digging our own graves?"
Glendale points a gauntleted finger to a series of foothills at the Spine of the World. "Here; a combe where Luruar and Many Arrows repelled nefarious designs of the Arcane Brotherhood--together. Officially it has no name, but the orcs call it Devilsfall," she says.
OOC: You can find anything on the Adventuring Gear list from the local peddlers, and most weapons, armor and miscellaneous equipment, at their listed value. Let me know if you would like to buy any supplies and when you're ready to depart.
“If you could point me the nearest alesmith, I would like to go brew some ales to accompany our diplomatic mission. After all, the way to an Orcs heart is through his liver. Additionally, I would like to trade in my leather armor for some chain mail.”

OOC: Inventories have been updated. I should also mention that while used equipment is hard to sell, if you want to clean up inventory, you can "stash" items in a city that you can reclaim at no cost in downtime.
Aradurk: Chain mail added, 75 gold pieces removed. The used leather armor isn't worth much to the local peddlers. Some of the peddlers have materials that could be used to craft ale, but no Brewer's Supplies to do so. Aradurk is over carrying capacity with the addition of the chain mail.
Meepo: Lute, Camel, Bit and Bridle, Riding Saddle, Saddlebags, and 10x Feed added, 101 gold pieces and 50 copper pieces removed. Keep in mind that a mount's carrying capacity does not include the weight of a rider and the rider's possessions.
Bartram: Draft Horse, Bit and Bridle, Riding Saddle, Saddlebags, 10x Feed, 10x Day of Rations, Two-Person Tent and Bedroll added, 74 gold pieces and 50 copper pieces removed. Keep in mind that a mount's carrying capacity does not include the weight of a rider and the rider's possessions.
Murmen: 10x Day of Rations added, 50 silver pieces removed.
The following morning the powerful group of adventurers and adventurers-turned-politicians sets out toward the Spine of the World. The morning is slightly morose and quiet, with a heavy weight seemingly hanging over everybody's heads.
OOC: If you would like to learn more about your traveling companions (PC or NPC), now is a great chance to do so.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the gloomy and serious expression of the people with him, Meepo remembers a song back when he was still with his tribe. The kobold brings out his newly bought lute as he sits comfortably on the back of his camel.
He starts to play the notes by plucking the string in a slow beat followed by slam of his hand against the lute's body. He continues to play the lute in this manner before he begin to sing the song of his people.
One day in the year of the fox Came a time remembered well When the strong young man of the rising sun Heard the tolling of the great black bell
One day in the year of the fox When the bell began to ring Meant the time had cometh For one to go To the temple of the king
There in the middle of the circle he stands Searching, seeking With just one touch of his trembling hand The answer will be found
Daylight waits while the old man sings Heaven help me And then like the rush of a thousand wings It shines upon the one And the day had just begun
OOC: No worries at all! Brewer's Supplies have been added to Aradurk's inventory, and 20gp removed. 10x Day of Rations have been added to Karst's inventory and 5gp removed.
Glendale cocks an eyebrow at the sight of the mounts within the party when you arrive. "Hope they don't get spooked by a camp full of orcs," she offers.
Along the way, Meepo stops by the blacksmith's shop to pick up his sword. "I had a fun time with this one. I've never crafted anything like this for a kobold before, but you're good for the money so I dare say if you have more work for me, come find me again," the human smith says, handing over the blade and accepting payment. The blade of the shortsword has been replaced entirely by fine steel, but the original hilt has been repaired and polished, and the design reinforced with new metal. The hilt has been polished black, accentuating the crude etchings made by an orc smith many years ago. "Do you have a name for it?" the smith asks.
OOC: Thriller has been added to Meepo's inventory and 10 gold pieces have been removed. Items carried by mounts have been updated.
The first day of travel is dead silent until early evening, when you once again catch a glimpse of a tower floating far in the distance. It is so faint that individually you may not even be certain that you saw it, but it could be seen by all in the party.
At night's fall, you break camp by the side of the road, preparing to rest for the night. Before everybody retreats to their tents for the night, there is an opportunity for conversation by the campfire. Fumbles begins regaling the group with exaggerated tales of heists that he has performed.
Murmen looks rather uncomfortable with Fumbles' boosting, and mentions of theft in general. Tales of fantastic locales seem to catch his interest, however.

Sal gives a puzzled look. "You saw that too? I thought I saw a tower, but it was out of my sight so quickly I just figured it was the boredom of travel."
Glendale and Roccar deny that they saw the tower, and Rowan suggests that something magical isn't out of the question, especially if you have seen it multiple times now.
