Wruce pulls off his cape and starts wringing it out. As he does he looks up at Raven.
"Looks like we went for that swim after all" he jokes while he watches the water from his cape hit the floor in front of him then throws the long black cape back on resting over his shoulders so it does not cover his body.
( If Warlocks have to lose spells despite not having to prepare them )
Wruce checks a series of small vials and pouches he has affixed to his belt. They all seem intact save for two. A pouch containing a bit of fleece, Wruce used for casting minor illusion had torn open and its contents were lost to the water. More concerning to Wruce was a vial full of petrified Newts, which he uses to cast Hex, had broken it and the hardened salamanders had returned to the water from which they came.
(No Hex! - Ouch)
( If Monks are affected by damp armour debuff despite not wearing armour )
Wruce bends down slightly getting into a boxers stance. He throws a few punches and bobs and weaves testing his mobility. He notices the added weight from the water in his clothing is slowing him down.
Wruce looks around at the immense cavity he and his fellow party members now stand. "Crost cavern vast Wruce thinks to himself recalling the riddle of the stolen weapons.
"Hey, what was the second part of that riddle, again?" He asks knowing the answer but trying to get his companions minds off the recent fumble and back to the task at hand.
Ronan wrings out his robe. "I don't suppose anyone knows how to get rid of this water. No way except forward friends."
He touches his staff and casts light. He then walks down the passage, proding the floor in front of him with his staff to ensure no obstacles surprise him.
Yuno gets up from the water and gently shakes the excess water off her clothes. She does not attempt to wring them however. "Oh no, my dress got dirty. Ah well. Shall we press on deeper in to the extraordinary White Plume Mountain?"
If not wearing armor removes the monster's +2 to hit, Yuno will remove her make-shift hide armor. Otherwise everything will be left as is.

Alexandria sighs in response to Wruce’s humor though finishes it with a small chuckle. When she’s done getting the water out of her clothes, she casts dancing lights. Four globials of dim blue light hover in front her before spreading out, one hovering over her head, the others making a line to where the door is.
With her knew found sight she looks around the cavern they’re in. Does she see anything of interest?

OoC: To clarify the penalties, if you take off your armor you will ignore the temporary AC penalty. I didn't think the spellbook thing through when I was hurrying to post before class, and now I see all of you are unprepareing non-combat spells, which I don't want. Just forget it, you don't need to unprepare anything. That's my bad.

In light of the above, I'm going to RP Yuno's reaction a bit more.
Yuno stands up and makes her way to dry land. Gives her tops and her skirt a gentle shake to get rid of some of the water. She is still dripping wet though. She takes off her hide armor. "Much better! The soaking wet coat was a bit too uncomfortable for me. Ah well, look at the bright side. We don't have to worry about getting wet anymore." She gives a light chuckle that's obviously fake but was intended to lighten everyone's spirits. "So, shall we try to get past the door?"
Unnoticed, Roderick slinks away from the group to check the room.
If the DM doesn't mind, can I roll Perception to see if Yuno notices Roderick? While I'm at it, can Yuno spot anything else of interest in the room? 26
Yuno rubs the water drops away from her nose and takes another deep breath. She sees Roderick and decides to let the guy go.
Good news! I found some sort of door mechanism and it appears to be untrapped. Bad news I cant open the door and something is happening. Roderick yells out to the group.
A shudder shakes the floor. A cascade of dust showers from the towering door as a crack forms along the left and the monstrosity begins to swing outwards at a menacing crawl as it breaks free of its restraints. It is not moved by magic or a mad wizard's device but by some powerful force from the opposite side!
"Crikey! It's gonna blow!" shouts Embry.
Hundreds of years of built-up pressure is released through the inch wide gap that has formed, and that gap is growing. A hot gust of unbreathable air hits you in the face.
"Feathered mound," "Boiling Bubble," the ash and steam you saw, it all makes sense now. White Plume Mountain is an active volcano!
Dennis looked up from checking his spellbook for water. "What? Gonna blow?" Looking around for something that could maybe change the situation in the party's favor, Dennis narrowed in on Roderick and his door mechanism. "Roderick, pull the lever! Or whatever it is!" Flipping through his spellbook rapidly, Dennis turned his attention to the door. "All doors are unbarred before the master."No sooner than the spell left his lips did the magic start to work away at the locking mechanism in the door.

The room is completely clear, unnaturally so. It devoid of stalagmites, stalactites, and other formations one would expect in a natural cave.
