"Well that was unexpected" Wruce says as he brushes himself off. Then goes on to look for anything in the room that might indicate where they should go next.
"Alas, it seems our elven compatriot tragically has no sense of humor... Perhaps we can find THAT on our adventure as well. " Cleese shrugs as he follows Wruce.
There are two passages before you. One leads south (right) and looks similar to the passage you are in. The other leads north (left) and is horribly scarred by something too large for the passage and more durable than the stone walls moving through it. The choice is yours.

“Well we don’t have a lot of time and we have a whole other passage to explore after we finish with this one. So in the interest of time I will go along with the north passage”
You splash down the corridor. Is it just you, or do the lights seem to dim? The door at the end is barred on your side. You lift the heavy metal beam and let the door swing open.
The room is large, but it appears to be much smaller due to the cobwebs and piles of scrap choking it. It is unlit.
"Welcome to my little junk yard, I have a proposition for you!" says a familiar voice. 5 red lights appear amid the webs and clutter. 5 cyclopean constructs churn to life. They are humanoids about twice your height, made of metal, and bearing one red eye each.
"IF you can defeat me in a trial of wits, then I will give one of my little toys to you for protection against what you will face next. If you fail or happen to be so rude as to refuse, then you will rot with the rest this litter. How do you choose?"
"Then IT IS DECIDED!" rasps the voice of Keraptis.
"I will present to you three numbers that fit a pattern. You may each tell me one set of three numbers and I shall tell you whether your set fits or not. Then, you must guess the pattern, HA! HA! HA! The numbers I give you are... 3! 7! 11!"

Wruce looks are at the constructs then to Roderick.
"3, 7, 11..." Wruse says as one of his hand comes from between his cape to under his chin. "They are all odd numbers thats for sure, but what else..? There is a difference of 4 between each of them... and they are all prime numbers. If I had to make a guess, which is seems like I do, I would say 43, 47, 51"
You didn't notice Embry join you, but he takes this time to speak up.
"4, 8, 12, perhaps?"
"CORRECT!"
The only one who hasn't spoken is Roderick (and The Unnamed Dwarf who appears to be mute). It is up to him to propose a set that can narrow down the options so you can find the true pattern that Keraptis has in mind.
Cleese turns to Roderick, "Ah! I was wondering where you were hiding...!"

Not being seen has saved my life as often as my blades.

I'll stick with the group, any guess where to go? I like north but am open to suggestions.
Karnys is more interested in not getting murdered by something much bigger than him.

competition or death? I can't imagine taking death, but I won't speak for the others.

Karnys gives this set of numbers.
"2, 5, 19."

"Battle of wits, is it? Very well...!" Cleese says with intrigue.
"Hmm... the three you have given us seem to be prime numbers. I guess you want unique numbers from us, so I will say 13, 17, and 23."
