Embir pulls out her quarterstaff and swings at the wolf that just attacked her, hitting it underneath the jaw. Zander pulls his bow and looses an arrow at the wolf who attacked Lae, hitting it at the joint between the shoulder and neck The wolf drops, but slowly stands back up, although obviously dangerously injured.
Necros moves beside Lae and you watch as he touches his thumbs together with his fingers spread. A wave of flame erupts from his fingertips, completely charring the struggling wolf, and barely catching the wolf by the gallows as well.
Lae pulls a small, beaten canteen, drinks from it and an odd light surrounds him. (See his post for more lol.)
Zennas moves to stand beside Embir, stabbing the nearby wolf with his rapier. Because the wolf is focused on Embir, Zennas manages to find vital organs as he stabs, dropping the wolf to the ground dead.
The final wolf, still slightly smoldering moves toward the tree line, but moves up to bite Zennas. He attempts to bite, but Zennas is able to dodge out of the way.
(Had to bot Embir and Zennas. Top of Round 3, Embir is up again.)

(right, sorry about going off-the-grid for a few days. Didn't mean to do that. So, I want to try and train the wolf? I realized I have a pretty decent animal handling and figured I would give that a shot, I can use jerky from my rations to help I think. Though that would mean I'm out of rations for the day but ya know peace and all that.)
Embir steps in front of Zennas towards the wolf, pulling a piece of jerky from her basket. She holds it out carefully to the injured wolf in front of her, an offering of peace.

When Embir inevitably gets bit by this wolf, I will take a shot at it. Actually, I will shoot at it either way and say something like: "it is too wild to be tamed."
Attack 9 damage 9

Also sorry for going ghost, but I liked the outcome. If there is still any wolves alive on my turn I will shoot at it from a safe distance, if no wolves I will search the area to make sure it's clear and if there is anything of value of course.
Embir pulls out some jerky and walks slowly toward the remaining wolf. The wolf moves closer, sniffing the jerky. It opens its mouth and moves to bite the jerky, but you watch as it stops suddenly, shakes its head and backs up, growling once more.
Zander moves to get a clear shot, yells "It is too wild to be tamed!" He pulls his shortbow and let's an arrow fly, impacting just behind the left foreleg, piercing the heart and dropping it dead.
(End of combat! 50 XP each!)
Zennas moves about to search the area, but finds no signs of more wolves, and, unfortunately finds nothing valuable either, as wolves carry no gold.
Zander walks up and puts his hand on Embir's shoulder. Sorry, but we had just killed its pack. No amount of food would have made that animal not hate us. Some other beast, perhaps, but not a wolf that just watched us slaughter its family.

(With a normal pack, you could probably only carry 1 complete skeleton when broken down. The road to the village lies east and another road southwest.)
After necros finishes "hey embir come over here and walk with me. Are you alright, and have you evere seen some you love die? I understand what you are going through i had to watch weile my sister died, i still remember the look on her face. Its one of those things that you will never forget. "
Embir walks with Necros, a bit startled by the confession. "Oh, I'm very sorry to hear that." She glances off to the side. "I've never watched someone die, that I particularly liked. My dad, I did love him, but his death was inevitable, and he didn't play a particular role in raising me. So it doesn't bother me too much now. Though I thank you for your concern." She sighs a bit. "I just wish I had learned sleep or maybe an animal taming spell? I could have at the very least saved one or two of the poor beasts."

Right, When you folks are done playing taxidermy, Let's head back to the village and deal with Moaning Mary, or whatever her name is.

Zennas readies his gear to move out.
