(OK, I will subtract 1 CP. There may have been some confusion, I don't think we're going to Mad Mary's before seeing Madam Eva, are we?) Should we check out what's for sale at the Mercantile before doing anything else?

(I agree on the confusion. I seem to have missed Zander's sarcasm lol. Madame Eva will mean leaving the village, or you can do the mercantile, or Mad Mary's just need a consensus lol.)
(OH, my apologies, confusion on my end too! I didn't realize Madam Eva was out of town, ok my vote is Mercantile, then Mad Mary, then Eva... Sorry everyone!)

"Ha ha ha laughable just some old coot stealing some peoples money. That is if she is not a powerful mage to talk to some spirts. Becides i know my road is bathed in blood and fire from the start so nothing to learn."
You walk away from the townhouse in order to further discuss plans and instead walk up to the mercantile building. It is approximately 70 ft long and 40 ft wide and, as previously mentioned, sparse light spills out from behind drawn heavy curtains. A sign over the door, creaking on its hinges, reads "Bildrath's Mercantile".
As you enter, you see a human male standing behind a counter, with racks of goods behind him.
“Good evening sir, ah.. at least I think it’s evening, it’s always so dark in this place.. might you be Bildrath? ...we may be interested in some wares”.
“My friend Necros here could do with some armor...but I’m not looking for anything specific... though a bit of information about the scratch marks we keep seeing around town may prove useful?”
"Well, I don't get armor or weapons here really, but I do get other gear. As to cutlery, I have a mess kit that includes some utensils. I do have ammunition like arrows or bolts or whatever."
"The claw marks? I hear rumors of things in the night--wolves larger than any that have been seen before. How people know, I have no idea. The town, what little of it is still actually inhabited, locks up or boards up tight every night at dark and those that go missing are never seen again. Unfortunately, our blacksmith is long gone, so I do not get armor of any kind here unless it is pulled off of strangers that have ummmm....met their end..."
“Hmm... these details seem to align with my previous experience... but, I’d like to hear what you lot think” Lae says as he turns to look at the group.
That sounds unfortunate, I hope we don't have to deal with those wolves. I'm full on arrows, thanks, but if you've got any out of the ordinary or special ones I'd be interested.

He nods. "I am. We don't get many strangers here, but wares I have. Anything in particular you folks are looking for?"

I wouldn't mind taking a look at some cutlery and maybe some other sharp objects or trinkets.
Anything that would be of interest to a bowman?

“And the claw marks...” Lae remarks a little more inquisitively.
"Do you purhaps have a set of plate ammor and a shield. If so how much?"

" we hat the range you on that pice of junk, what not magic away your problems."
"Sorry, friend, magical items don't come through here often either."
“Doesn’t seem like much comes through here anymore... is there anyway we can help you and this village sir?”
