Jut will head towards the obsidian. I'm going to get rock. He will spend as much time as possible mining with his handaxe and local rocks before heading back to the cave.(hopefully enough for a few daggers, arrow/spear heads and maybe a head for a big 2 handed axe)
Jut hacks at the black obsidian and gets 3 larger pieces about hand sized. Shank does not get those kinds of large pieces but does collect about 10 smaller pieces that vary from an inch to about 3 inches.

Back at the cave, Whisper wanders around the edge of the cavern again. She searches around the edge of the door and the dark corners of the cave. This time she looks closely for signs of words, buttons, or flaws.
This time when Whisper looks around she sees something 10 feet from the floor on the metal door. A slight etching seems to be inscribed there but it is almost invisible. It almost looks familiar but it just seems like there is something wrong with it and cannot tell what it is. It almost looks like writing.

ooc DM, options on obsidian gained? I'm not sure I understand how much I got. Hand sized flake is different than hand sized rock which could be flaked to make many cutting edges.
Basically what can I try and make? Also who is unarmed that needs something?
(Whisper has claws and a whip. If you manage an ax or anything that does better damage than 1d4, she'll take it. Don't put her first on the list by any means.)

(Arrowheads? Spearheads might be good. Mace heads? Ax heads. Daggers. Darts. Sling stones. I favor spears and axes with daggers as a close third.)
