Kip would bounce quickly along with the group and once in the clearing, he would place his hands on his knees as he tries to catch his breath. "That.... Is... A nice... Pond" The squirrling would say inbetween breaths.
Penris looks around, trying to locate the fairy king. “The hag is gone, your Majesty. However, she said that her master is in a tower near here. So I suppose we need to find him next?” she says with a question in her voice. “She did say that the land would revert within 6 months, though if you can aid the magic, it will heal faster.”
The vines and grass of the ground begins to move, quickly parting; as the ground split, the fairy king floats out of it and over the pond. From his own lips you hear; "I do not have magic enough to help the land; though as it recovers, so will I. I can simply pull the hag's magic out of these people."
He begins to pull magic from the fish; trails of dark energy that seems to pain the king as it contacts him. His personal glow becoming fainter; with parts of it turning dark.
Kip will look concerned as he sees what is happening to the fairy king. "Is there anyway I can help you?" The squirreling would ask holding his tail in his hands.
Vanyel sends up a prayer to The Mighty for aid as he attempts to focus his rage at what he sees. "Send some of that darkness my way. I have dealt with much and am sure I can handle that too with The Mighty's help." Truly Vanyel had no idea what he was talking about but it sounded good at least.

Kip will pull out his pebble and clutch it tightly in his hand "Hope will grant me the strength to help you in this task... she is the light that ends the darkness" Kip will say with a smile.
Penris looks offended. "Of course we will help," she says. "Isn't that why we are here?" She too pulls out her pebble and clutches it tightly in her hand, nodding to the king.
From the stones you hear the encouragement and agreements of your Gods as their divine energy pours into and then through each of you. You feel this connection with nature as the divine energies merge with that of the fairy king's; followed by a darker sensation as the corrupted magics reach you.
To say that the hag's twisted dark magic hurts, is to lie. This is far beyond pain; as the feelings of your bodies twisting and breaking begins to overwhelm you. As it washes over, you witness the fish begin to change; most beginning to faintly glow, some begin to grow larger, and one starts getting covered in green warts.
The dark energies share twinges of pain as they reach your bodies; leaving brief flashes of the hag Grizelda and her dark rituals. As time passes you instead see moments of a fleshless man standing next to a massive magic rune covered diamond; taller and larger than the man.
This skull faced person appears to turn and look directly at each of you. At this moment the darkness pouring out of the transformed people intensifies; causing the fairy king to cry out. The dark energy begins moving towards Penris next; with terrifying force.
Penris calls out moments before it impacts; filling your mind with images of the skeletal figure reaching towards you with the intent to choke the life out of you. You instinctively close your eyes as it's skeletal hand reaches towards your face.
After a moment or two Penris opens her eyes, only to see Vanyel and Kip standing before her, taking the brunt of the magic, it's dark shadows tracing along their bodies. Their eyes gone dark.
Kip, before you stands the intimidating form of Vanyel, with the undead man before you both. Vanyel, he stands infront of you, his finger resting intimidatingly upon your chest; not that it phases you any.
"Hope will protect me.... Hope will cast the darkness from this land!" The squirreling will shout as he backs up and quickly puts a bullet in his sling. The bullet shaking ever so slightly in his hand. "With her help... we... we will fix the forest and get rid of you!" Kip will yell as his tail shakes behind him before he commands it to wrap tightly around his waist like a fluffy belt.
Penris opens her eyes and takes in the scene - the terrifying skeletal man, Kip and Vanyel bravely protecting her. She squeezes the pebble in her hand even tighter, whispering fiercely, “Krythlynn, help Kip and Vanyel - they are so brave, protecting me with no thought for their own safety!”
Vanyel stood there with muscles tight trying to physically and mentally hold the skeletal figure at bay. A low growl rumbles deep in his chest as he looks down at the form. "Your Dark magic is not welcome here, and neither are you. GO AWAY!"
