Kip, you are surprised when your travels are interrupted again by a Wyrwood creature; this one small with a long movable tube in its chest. It's wheels roll it over to infront of your path, pointing the tube at you. It does not appear to have a mouth.
Nodding to herself, now assured that the baby rats are well cared for, Penris dusts of her knees and heads off back down the road, humming as she does so.
Vanyel runs to the deer and quickly dresses it, lifting the entrails over his head with a quick prayer of thanks to The Mighty before slinging the deer over his shoulder and heading home at a ground eating jog.

Penris, when you turn around you see a face staring back at you; a very familiar face. The face of Mercury, Champion of Pluto the Fey God. You are finally before him.
As Kip kneels down to the small Wyrwood creature, you place your ear infront of the tube... And are rammed into at least twice before you are able to hurry away.
(Take 1 point of damage, please keep track of it.)
”Mercury!” Penris squints up at him, a huge grin breaking out over her face. She rushes forward and hugs him, then releases him quickly with a little squeak. “Um, er, sorry, I’m just excited to see you! What are you doing here?”

A wooden blade slashes your leg, before a tiny wheeled wooden construct rolls out of the bush. A spinning blade, marked with your blood, sits on it's face.
Mercury jolts at the hug and doesn't quite know what to do with himself, he hasn't had much 1 to 1 contact for a long while. He brushes himself off and tilts his head slightly, squinting his eyes, trying to place the name. His hands shake and he looks above.
"You.. You're real? Yes? Your name, I can't quite remember. Please, put my out of my misery."
He rifles around his pockets for his journal and flips through the pages to find the faces he had drawn. Quickly holding it up and smiling.
Penris sees Mercury’s drawings and smiles shyly. “I’m Penris.“ She sends a silent thank you to Krythlynn for sending Mercury to her so quickly. “I'm so glad to see you again! Have you met any of the others yet? Are you here to stay? Now what are we supposed to do?” Penris rattles off her questions with barely a breath between them.
Mercury points in the direction of the tavern nearby. "How about we go for a drink? I think I need one. I am glad to see you and I have not met anybody else, for years. Pluto has been quiet, but seeing you... I mean... there's something to this, right?"
He sounds excited, if not a bit overwhelmed. Finally, Pluto's words echo true and Mercury, once believing he was just a mad old Gnome, is delighted.

Kip will quickly back away and rub the side of head "OW! What is wrong? I am here to help.. " shaking his head, checking to make sure that there is no blood in his plush red and brown fur. "Squirrelings and Wyrwood are friends" The squirreling will say while placing his hand on the hilt of his dagger and look around to see if maybe the wyrwood was trying to alert him of danger.
"Well, there must be something to it, since you are here. Maybe Krythlynn will send the others, too." She taps her finger on her chin, thinking. "We could go to the tavern, I suppose, but I was actually on my way out of town." She sighs. "But you are here, so maybe here is where we are supposed to be. Let's go, then, shall we?" She grabs Mercury's arm and half walks, half skips as they go.

As Penris kneels down you can see that among the makeshift nest of stolen objects and cloths, are several tiny baby rats. (Make a Perception Check)

Penris, the baby rats are cute.
